7.62 - High Calibre -19.99
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-762/762-high-calibre

I hope I got everything right :)

Haha, my bad I thought I viewed all of them, your right Steam does have that deal that Gamersgate doesn't! Guess you have to shop around if you want to get all the paradox titles! :)

I have been looking for Kings Bounty cheapish for a long time! This is as low as I've seen it. Thanks for the heads up OP!

I can give you my recommendation on some of the titles. I'd steer clear of most of the 0.50 titles except for Europa Universalis.

If you like grand strategy then you could do a lot worse, ie they are very good, then Europa Universalis III or Hearts of Iron II, however before you buy one of those titles I would read the reviews, while I love them, they arn't for your average twtichy FPS (not saying you can't do both, I certainly do :))

Rush for Berlin is a pretty polished tactical game, but I couldn't get into it as much as I would like (same thing with CoH, because your individual units become important and not the means of production like Supreme Commander)

Mount and Blade has enjoyable combat and small dedicated mod fan base, however it lacks in the more open world elements some and the graphics are not the best.

I've only played the orginal sword of the stars, and it has a lot of cool features, but the interface bugged me so I struggled when playing the game. I don't know about the expansions.

UFO Extraterrestrials is the closest thing I've seen to a update of X-com commercially, but it has some flaws. Still if you crave that xcom flavor and tire xcom itself might give a spin. If you don't know what Xcom was look it up!

Unless you have a sick attention to detail I'd probably skip Victoria, its learning curve and sheer amount of data you have to understand is pretty brutal.

That pretty much wraps up the games I know from the list, and of course it is my opnions on them.

Mount and Blade at 14.99 is a total ripoff. It could've been had for $7.50, can be found easily at Big Lots for $6, and just isn't WORTH more than $10.

LoL I guess its all POV, I can't beleive millions of people bought Halo 3 for 50 bucks, but thats just me :). BTW its not easily found at biglots, at least not the big lots near me. But I do agree that it should have ben 7.50, then it would have probably been a must buy, had I not already owned it.

actually quite a few of those titles can be had at Big Lots. I know in south LA county, ive seen Mount and Blade, EU III and EUIII complete, galactic assualt, and supreme ruler at more than one store.

Darn, I wish I lived there smackattack, I occasionaly get lucky but I have nothing like that selection at my big lots *sigh*

I go between three different Big Lots's in my region and they are ALL packing EU3 Complete, EU3 standard, EU Rome, and M&B.

Paradox games can almost always be found littering bargain basements. Hell, you can probably get a lot of them for under $10 if you shop Amazon Marketplace smart. Shipping hurts though, but Paradox is the sort of developer where you can say, "What? ONLY fifty percent off retail? Yawn!"

Things worth noting:

EU Rome Complete is a good deal. Vae Victus is hard to find.

HoI2 Doomsday supercedes HoI2 standard. It is not an expansion but a fullon upgrade as far as I know. Save your money if you can.

Armageddon is a download only expansion to Doomsday.

So are:

Two Thrones
Valhalla Chronicles
Europa Universalis
Europa Universalis: Crown of the North (is this an expansion?)

Worth the .50 cents? I feel like being really cheap and the fact that i don't just buy them for that is proof of my cheapness right now. Anyone know though?

I can't get to Gamersgate at this moment to check (I'm at work). But I think the two EU games are Win 98 titles and might not work in XP and/or Vista.

But that wouldn't be a problem for me because I still have a Win 98 gaming machine! ;)

Same here. I just recently built a Win 98 machine for the same reason
