GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Thanks PuppetYuber! I shipped out your Street Fighter IV Collector's Edition Fighter's stick yesterday by the way. It went out Priority Mail so you should have it in less than a week hopefully. I'm not sure if you got the Email notification or not ^_^ Thanks again.

We're going to have a wide variety of items for this sale, so it's really one to watch. If you haven't registered yet guys, please do so :) I'm really counting on this to be a hit so that I can continue these sales. I much prefer my own system to selling everything on eBay (no fees!) so even if they sell for a little less, I still come out ahead.

Okay, sounds like a plan there psyck0! kgroat, you're very welcome. Thanks for letting me know about eCost.com. I got two of those adapters myself and love them :)

Can you guys believe we hit over 101,000 views in this forum now? WOW!

Hey Goomba, I was just wondering if it would be possible for you to get Xbox Live Gold/Points cards from another user on CAG (SmurfALMIGHTY) as they are selling the 12+1 Gold and 4000 point cards for only $30. However, he doesn't accept Paypal anymore. I don't know if it is worth the hassle for you to do this for your standard markup or if it is even safe to be reselling codes though.

The 4000 points though are a real good deal, and it is almost tempting me to make a US based Live account just to be able to use those points.

Has anyone done business with him before on these? I would have no problem ordering a couple if he's willing to. I'll go try to contact him and see what's up :) Thanks for the tip!

You've been paid for that last request Goomba. I just need you to send me the PDF file whenever you get around to it please =)

BTW, for you Canadians who have yet to pick up A Bugs Life on Blu, Goomba may be able to pick you up a copy for cheap.

Toys R Us has the Blu Ray version that was just released on sale for $19.99. This would save you a few bucks by buying it from Goomba if he was willing to trek there to pick one up for you.

Thanks grsce, I will get you that PDF hopefully tomorrow :) I had a really busy day with work and driving across state and such. Speaking of Bug's Life, that's awesome (I'm trying to collect all the Pixar movies on Blu Ray as well as all my animated favorites).

By the way, if you haven't already: SEE UP! It's absolutely jaw-droppingly amazing. If you can see it in Disney Digital 3D, all the better. It's seriously one of the best movies (animated or otherwise) I've seen. I can't say enough good things about it. Simple premise, amazing execution!

It depends telepathy. I usually try to mark items under $45 if they are not really expensive and I break up items into separate packages if I think you'll have to pay customs fees. What was it you were thinking of ordering? Let me know. I'm sure I can work out something for you :) I will not buy a $300 item and mark it as $20.00...I don't do that. Also, if you want insurance then you have to mark it at the actual cost generally speaking.

Rabid619, probably not too much except I think the poster Rolls are like $3 or so (those special poster rolls). If you buy it from somewhere online though chances are it'd come in a box so I'm guessing $4 probably to ship, maybe $5 USD

If you're shipping posters you might want to wander into your local Home Depot (or whatever hardware store you have around). Look for some light cheap PVC piping, it's cheaper/better than any cardboard poster tube you'll find anywhere ;) The only downside is you need to cut it down to size, but they should have saws there.

Ragnar14, that's great advice. I'll have to look into that :) I actually bought a ton of posters back in the day but never sold them due to the price of poster tubes and all that. I will have to try it!

Setite, yes your Demikids came in and looks awesome :) It is factory sealed as promised by the seller. The post office seems to insure to Russia still, but wasn't 100% sure as they wanted a package to actually test it on, and I didn't have one for them. Let me know what you want to do :) Thanks!

Hey Goomba,

Looking at the Canadian dollar and noticing the Lost Blu-ray sale Amazon is running (http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.ht...rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=472299491&pf_rd_i=B000TFINY6)
has got me in a purchasing mood. I was wondering how much would the shipping for 2 seasons be? It is the first two seasons so each one should weigh the same as the third season, which is around 580g. Also would it be ok if I payed for $10 of the total with Amazon.com GCs?

Thanks.

Yeah it is not the deluxe set but still great. I would be happy to order for you. I willsend an invoice when I get home so you can compare with other sites ;)

game_fanatic, traditionally I don't really do MIR's unless you are able to accept the following:

1) You pay full price until I receive the rebate
2) You are willing to split the rebate with me 50/50. This is to avoid abuse and also just to be fair, as many items are one-per-household and many times I wouldn't mind having the item for myself :) To be fair, I'm willing to split it with you half and half.
3) First Come, First Serve. If a rebate item is available, I will do the offer with the first person who requests it. Simple as that.

Those are my conditions. I think they're pretty fair honestly. I'm not sure if they have any Halo 3's or not near me, but if you are willing to accept my conditions I can check for you. Thanks!

RoganSarine, thanks man! I'll go and pack your items ^_^

** Special Announcement - Goomba Visiting Canada **

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know there is a good chance that I will be making it up to Canada between June 14th-17th. I was originally going to be visiting friends down in Maryland, USA but they had to cancel on me last second so I'm going to be changing my plans around. At the moment I am considering to visit two places:

1) Toronto, ON
2) Montreal, QC

I've been to Toronto a couple of times and really loved it there, but I've never been to Montreal before. I was wondering if you guys would be interested at all in meeting up if I were to come to either place. I know there's a good deal of you in the Toronto area, as well as many in Quebec. Not sure if you'd have the time, but it'd be cool to meet some of you in person if you did.

Also, if there was a particularly heavy item (Arcade Stick, Game Console, etc.) of some kind that you wanted to order, I could bring it with me and you wouldn't have to pay shipping costs. That way you could kill two birds with one stone :) Let me know if you'd be interested in meeting me and the wife. Otherwise, tell me I'm a crazy person and I can live with it ^_^ Thanks guys!

Okay well the truth hurts I suppose :) I'm looking forward to all the great restaurants in Toronto. They have some mean authentic Sichuan Chinese food in Chinatown! Liu Liu Hot Pot here I come ^_^

Hey guys, I'm looking into that for you. The store said it was out of stock when I checked and many places won't Price Match a store if it's OOS. I'll let you know if I get any. Oh for the record RZ is "Reward Zone" and yes I'm a member. They just give you points and things when you buy stuff at Best Buy and sometimes have exclusive sales. I'm not a Silver Rewards Member yet though (yet) unfortunately =P

Thanks PuppetYuber. I ordered 3 of them (the limit per household on the site). Keep in mind they don't do store delivery so I have to pay $3.00 shipping per item, as well as 6% Tax. If you still want one, let me know. Thanks!

hey there telepathy, it will of course be different with each and every eBay seller. Once I receive the game though from them I will almost always mail it out next day, so you should have it in roughly a week and a half if they send it out right away to me :) Thanks! It's just an estimate of course as I have no idea how fast the game will get to me from the original seller ^_^

goomba478, I'd like you to send this package with insurance. I will get my next paycheck next week, so if you trust me enough :) you can insure the package right now and send it, if you prefer me to pay for the insurance first, we will have to wait a few days. I really would like you to test insuring the packages sent to Russia since I am going to buy the PS3 this month with your aid (Sony's conference got me all wet ), but I won't dare sending the PS3 here without insurance. How do you think, at what price is it possible to get a PS3 20gb (CECHB model) in good condition with all ther usual accessories? Shipping it to Russia will cost ~$60, am I right? :)

Setite, alright I can send it out first for you that's fine. I have to work in the morning today but I should be out before 5:00 PM probably to test the insurance thing. If I can't make it there today, I will go tomorrow :) Thanks!

As for the PS3, yes it's going to cost quite a bit to ship and I don't blame you for wanting insurance. I'll have to find out about the 20GB models again as they fluctuate pretty frequently :) They're like rare Gold these days. Thanks again!

Anyone here interested in Little Big Planet (US Version) for $35 Shipped? This is the cheapest I've seen for a brand new copy that is NOT a European version or Asian version. It's on sale today only from Amazon.com. Let me know! Thanks guys :)
