GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.
True, but you're just lucky I think ^_^ I think it also helps that you are in Toronto...Speaking of which...

a Canadian user on RFD has asked me about potentially making a trip up to Toronto sometime in the spring to deliver some REALLY heavy items (5 x 40 pound items) that would cost almost $500 to ship. I am actually considering to drive the items up to Toronto sometime in say April which would be by far the longest I've ever driven to deliver a package lol. I'd like to make a 3-4 day stay out of it though as I had a really good time last time I was up there. Would any of you guys like to meet up if I did make the trip up north? Let me know :)
Depending on the day and location, I'd certainly consider it. I'm downtown at a co-op 5 days a week right now, and I stay fairly late for a night class on Wednesdays.
PLAY IT NOW

Guys, Ninja Gaiden II is gonna be $9.99 at Best Buy brick and mortar in the US.
Once I clear through my backlog bud ;) and SWEET deal on NGII (goomba do you mind picking me up one?)

Yeah if I do come to Toronto anytime soon I'll of course let you guys know. I LOVE Thai food (and the Chinese food in Toronto is to die for) though I'm not much of a pub person (...don't drink ^_^;;;) but sounds fun anyhow kathos!

Median, that's cool. I won't be coming up any time soon (thinking about April perhaps since that's a nice Spring-y time of year) but I'll keep you posted!

Maigoyume, I will certainly try! I'm going to try and order it online, pick up in store and price match it. So we'll see how that goes :)

Since nobody responded to my blog post, I'm going to post it in here directly. This is the visual step-by-step order/mailing process for GamesForCanada.com...enjoy!

As promised, I am going to do a VERY visual step-by-step guide to ordering from GamesForCanada.com. Since my last post was very wordy, I will let the pictures do most of the talking ^_^

1) The Online Store on GFC:
gfc-online-store.jpg

(Order directly from items that are currently in stock. New version of the website will also feature a text-only view of all items in stock, as well as qty. for items). The direct link is here:
http://www.gamesforcanada.com/index.php

2) Direct Request Form:
gfc-direct-request.jpg

The life-blood of my services: The "Direct Request" page. You can request almost any item from anywhere (including auction sites like eBay.com!). The full page is located here:
http://www.gamesforcanada.com/direct-request.php

3) Quickbooks Business Software:
quickbooks-order.jpg

After your order is received, I will input all of your information into Quickbooks. This will allow me to send you customized invoices!

4) Custom GFC Invoices:
invoice.jpg

Your invoice will contain line-by-line information about ALL the charges and a breakdown of all the costs including shipping and service charges. Leaves nothing to the imagination :)

5) Shipping Process:
items-ordered.jpg

Once all of your items are in, I will lay them out and make sure that everything is accounted for. I may or may not take pretty pictures of the order as seen above :)

packing-items-001.jpg

I use top of the line shipping materials (colored bubble wraps, Scotch Packaging tape - the best in the world, cardboard boxes, the works. I want your items to reach you in pristine condition and hopefully my attention to detail will show when you get it!

packing-items-002.jpg

Again, note all the wrapped items. I will never just throw your items into a box and call it a day. I spend a lot of time on each and every order!

packing-items-003.jpg

Once the box is fully packed and secured, I generally write a thank you note to give your order a little more of a personal touch :)

weighing-item.jpg

I use a professional shipping scale that can weigh up to 75 pounds! It is good for heavy items, but also can do items weights down to 1/10 of an ounce. Not bad ^_^ This ensures you do not overpay for your shipping!

customs-label.jpg

I use professional shipping services from Endicia that allow me to print Shipping Labels, Customs Forms and all in one. Upon shipping, you will receive an Email confirmation that will let you know the date shipped as well as your customs numbers. Couldn't be simpler!

And that's it! I will hand-deliver your items the next day to my local post office (where trust me, they know me QUITE well now haha) and you should have your item within 7-10 days (for Canada) or perhaps faster if using Priority Mail or if you luck out :) I hope you guys will consider using my services now that you have seen all the work that goes into them. It's a labor of love, but I really do want to help you guys and it's a WIN/WIN situation for all of us. Thanks and happy GFC'ing!

Guys, Ninja Gaiden II is gonna be $9.99 at Best Buy brick and mortar in the US.
I'm in for one please.
danthemightyone, I just went over my invoices that I've sent out and I never charged you (at least from what I can tell) for the Rune Factory 2 + Plushie. If you find a payment code or invoice that you did please let me know. I still have a few in stock though and I'll lock you in at the Black Friday price in case you want one. Just let me know. Especially if you did pay for it and I somehow can't find it (but for the record I'm actually very organized with my records, so I think perhaps you mentioned you wanted me to get you one but I never actually billed you for it. Similar to Persona 4). Thanks!
I only found my post asking for a copy but never found any invoice for it. I will make the payment with persona 4. I am in no rush for RF2 so you can hold onto it, at least until you find more about NG2 @ $9.99. Thanks!

My local Best Buy DOES have NGII's in stock but they're marked as $30 + tax right now. So if I want to get them, I'll have to pay full price now and have them price match at the counter. A bit of a pain, but worth it for the savings.

Yeah that's what I thought danthemightyone. Sorry I never invoiced you for it, I'll hold one for you now in the meantime :) Sounds good! I will let you guys know if I'm able to get the NGII's or not. I won't invoice you until I know for sure. Thanks!

Price shows up as $1,135.95 ... if it was showing as cheaper before then they obviously fixed it FAST. What was it before? Just curious :)

Just so you guys know, it looks like the only way I'll be able to get the Ninja Gaiden II's will be to order them from their website and have them delivered to me at full price, then price match later on. Meaning it'd be:

$10 + $3 + $0.60 = 14.60 + $5.00 (Shipping/Fees to Canada) = $19.60 USD. Not quite as tempting but maybe you still would be interested? Not bad for a brand new copy. Still sells for $50+ on Amazon.ca

Yeah, I doubt they would have honored it anyhow :) Companies like Amazon know what they're doing. They used to be more forgiving with price mistakes, but that'd be a HUGE loss for them lol. I would have tried anyhow if it let me put it through, but it was gone in an instant.

I got the foam tips today, Goomba, but I got an unexpected present as well: an invoice from eStarland for a product that was most certainly not mine. You could have included the game as well as the tips :p

I got the package today, Goomba. Awesome stuff, thanks a lot!
Oh and i think i'll go for the rosenqueen ar tonelico 2 preorder. Can you send me an invoice with the $10 credit when you have the chance?
Thanks.

Goomba, please put me down for a NG2, but one question, it's not the Platinum/Greatest Hits malarky is it? If it isn't I'm 100% sure I want one just send me the invoice.

Also yeah if you wanna grab a bite and hang just send a PM when you're coming down here.

Also wtf, how much are you selling that Atlus pack there?

Also! Where is your eBay page? I've been waiting for you to post more stuff and I usually just follow your store link in your sig...

goomba, to use a Hollywood Video gift card at GameCrazy or somewhere, would you need the physical gift card or would just the number work? Soul Calibur IV's stupid marketing site sent me a Hollywood Video gift card to buy my Game Informer subscription I ordered.

There are no Hollywood Video stores in Canada ._.; Also, I don't really want a Game Informer subscription anyway... ordered cuz it was free. I wouldn't mind spending it at GameCrazy but I have no idea what the next time I'll be in the States is.

Median: Sorry about that! I try to reuse and recycle bubble mailers from past orders to make the best of my shipping materials (and help the earth). My mistake :) I'm glad you got the foam tips though! That was pretty quick ^_^ Please put in positive feedback for me on CAG if you could.

frictor: I will do that for you no problem. I'll try to send out the invoice today. I have to figure out the shipping from Rosenqueen. Remind me again if you don't have the invoice by tomorrow night (I have a busy day tomorrow). Thanks!

kathos: Just don't worry about the Atlus pack :) I only have two left and they've been selling for a good price so I'm not complaining. Also, I'm not sure if they are Platinum Hits or not for NGII, it all depends on Best Buy I suppose, but they very well could be. I hadn't thought of that. By the way, the link for my eBay store is in my signature (look at the top of the page). Thanks! I don't have many items in there at the moment as I'm working on something very exciting ^_^ More on this next week or so....

killmak: It would be about $110 USD total to ship to you. This is due to the shipping costs from Victoria Secret to me, then another $12 or so to ship to Canada, plus sales tax (6% in my state). Still save you more than $20 which isn't bad if you ask me. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks!

Firestorm: I was just told that there is a Hollywood Video in Rhode Island and one near the capital of my state. I've never actually been to one, but apparently they are there in the wild about an hour or so away from where I live. I'm pretty sure I'd need the actual card though to use it for you as they don't really do online orders from what I can tell. If you want to mail it to me, maybe we can work something out. Thanks ^_^

It's 5:30 AM now so I think I'll be going to sleep now. Thanks guys! Cya soon.

doctorofstyle, yes Target sent me a nice letter explaining that the price was an error and they cancelled all my copies (as if we didn't know that was coming)....doh!

Yes it would be cheaper from Amazon I think because there is no tax and I get free shipping too! So yes my friend I think you solved the case :) I will PM you!
My friend might be needing the same thing so I guess I'd like to ask too. It's also on Amazon.com for the same price.
its not on amazon anymore, they ran out of stock. its really limited, Madcatz only made 3000 units

If it turns out to be real and you can grab more than one of those subscription cards, add me to the queue :) I was kicking myself for missing the amazon deal

yea, about the fightstick goomba,to add on to my pm,id just pay you the money right away so you can preorder it in store so i wouldnt have to pay double shipping.

Okay sounds good ussjme, I just sent you a PM with payment instructions.

As for the discounted Xbox live cards, I will definitely keep an eye out for those...sounds like a steal! Thanks guys for the heads up on that and other deals :) Time for bed. My casino job kept me overtime AGAIN lol. We're supposed to get a pretty big snow storm tomorrow so I'm considering to call out with a "weather day" (I have one remaining of my initial two allotted to me). Cya soon guys!

deluga, this Fighter stick weighs about 9-10 pounds shipped so including everything it will be $196 USD. Not exactly cheap, but I hear it's one of the best fighter sticks ever. Considering it retails for $150+ tax it's not so bad if you can afford it. And yes, you will likely have to pay customs on it as I don't mark down customs forms (I could get in big trouble for that, not to mention you could be black listed by customs as well). Insurance is $4.00 USD if you want it making it an even $200 USD total insured/shipped. Shipping is by Priority Mail (5-7 days generally). Thanks!

Just received all the vitamins and headphones goomba, much thanks :applause:

Last up is MMX collection and I think my gamecube collection is finally done.

Edit: Oh and thanks for the pixie sticks?

I think I can Firestorm, but keep in mind it's $196 USD shipped including everything (they weigh about 10 pounds or so, therefore have to be shipped Priority Mail). Expensive pieces of kit :) But well worth it from what I hear.

As for Ninja Gaiden II, I can get them guys but again I will have to pay tax and shipping ($3 per game) from Best Buy. Meaning it'll be around $19 or $20 shipped to Canada. I asked if anyone was interested still but didn't hear back from you guys. Let me know.

I will be in Massachusetts almost all day today but will bring my trusty iPhone with me. Let me know before they are sold out online :)

If it isn't platinum hits/GH send me an invoice for one I'm game.

Just so you guys know, I stayed up till 3:00 AM EST for you all, but it doesn't seem that the rumor was true about the Buy.com $30 Xbox Live cards. Bummer. Oh well :) I still tried for you guys. Now time to get some sleep. I have to get up at 7:00 AM (less than 4 hours from now). Cya all soon!

Guys it looks like the Xbox 360 cards are available on Buy's eBay account for $30 + Free shipping! If you want one Please, Please, Please send your payments to:

[email protected] (Non Credit Card payments Only) - $33.00 USD Total

OR

[email protected] (Credit/Debit Card Payments are fine) - $34.00 USD total. Thanks!

I'm going to order a couple and hopefully you guys still want them :) They have a few thousand in stock as of 3:35 AM but that'll likely go fast. Let me know!

Update on the Xbox 13 Month Gold Cards:

I ordered a total of 30 of them (yes 30) and will be offering them first come first serve. The payment instructions are above. I will be listing them on my GamesForCanada website later as well. Once they sell out, they'll be gone :) Thanks guys!
Wait the codes work in Canada? I thought codes were region specific or whatever?
Points are region specific, not Live subs Kathos.

Yes I'm aware that there is an Amazon Gold Box deal today but I didn't think any of the offers from what I heard were all that tempting. If there's anything you want send me a message :) I'm at my University job today but I will check my home Email/PMs and such as well as this board.

Kathos, yes only points are region specific. The Xbox Live Gold cards work in US/Canada no problem.
