GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

$34 USD for 13 months? Mine runs out in April, so hook me up!
There are a bunch of HD DVDs sold by closeoutmovies on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_?url=me%3DA2LCOF6C3HGT6M&field-keywords=hd&x=0&y=0
If you could grab me the following (I'll pay whatever the shipping is, just let me know beforehand if its crazy expensive):
Bourne Identity
The Pianist
Casino
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Born on the Fourth Of July
Mercury Rising
Carlitos Way
The Game
Monty Python's Meaning Of Life
Friday Night Lights
Serenity
Seed Of Chucky
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

BEFORE you order anything, if you could PM me a total, that'd be great.
It's probably a lot more than I'm willing to spend anyway :)

Hey Goomba, I'm totally interested, and would love if you could order that product for me. But I was looking around that site some more, and I for sure want to add two more items! I understand this will increase the price, shipping + your service fee, but I want to buy eveything at once. With the information you gave in your reply I checked how much the shipping would be to you, around $8-9, compared to $28 to Canada! Would there be anyway for you to tell me how much everything would cost, in total after all of the fees and everything are applied? I promise I won't add any more things. =)

Two new items:

http://www.videogamefigures.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=135

Original item:
http://www.videogamefigures.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=226

I'm going to PM you my information now.

Azumangaman, I will definitely hook you up with the Xbox Live subscription and I will get back to you about the HD-DVDs (I have to eat breakfast and then I'll calculate). It actually shouldn't be too bad. But I'd probably have to ship in a few shipments due to the weight/value of the items. I'll get back to you!

TronB, I just got your PM with your info. I'm going to send you your first custom invoice. Should have it in about 30 minutes or so ^_^ Just have to eat something before I faint. Thanks!

I'm sending you your code now AznChaos, funny that you should contact me :) I was just looking for your Email. I'll send it through the CAG Pm system ^_^ Your friends code should come in Tuesday with the others. You got the last of my initial batch.

Your code has been sent and payment is received for your friend. Let him/her know they should have it Tuesday ^_^ Thanks again. Off to work now.

No problem! I read it in the DVD Deals thread. I have around 70 already. I LOVE HD DVDS!

I only have a handful at the moment, I'm kind of worried about buying a lot since there's something not great about the Xbox 360 HD DVD Drive's audio capabilities or something.

I've been picking up HD DVDs once in a while, when I find 'em they're always a few bucks but eh...

My best pickups were the Blade Runner HD DVD suitcase and the Corpse Bride box (with the cool little sleeve).

Also anyone know where to find a Mission Impossible 3 HD DVD? I bought the 3-pack amd #3 doesn't work :(.

hey goomba, can you pm me with a quote for the same hd thing as the others with the following list

the game
inside man
in good company
friday night lights
bourne identidy
casino
smoking aces

I wouldn't mind a quick quote on some of those HD DVDs as well, since I can't seem to figure out how the pricing for shipping multiple items works for marketplace items.

Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - $2.97
Inside Man - $4.98
Accepted - $5.55
Happy Gilmore - $3.98

Hey Goomba,

I can't remember if I told you that I received Pure or not, but I did about a month ago, thanks. I'm VERY pleased with your service, and will be recommending you to friends and family.

I have a question. Would you be able to order something for me from a non-video game website that doesn't ship to Canada (i.e. clothing)?

YOUR_SUPERIOR, thanks so much for your kind words :) I've been getting a lot of them lately and I really do appreciate them! I can absolutely order non-video game items. In fact, lately most of the items people order ARE non-video-game related ^_^ I've actually considered renaming my services "Stuff For Canada" for my Direct Request Orders haha.

If you want a full (well getting there anyway) FAQ about my services feel free to read here. It's not boring or overly drawn out:

http://gamesforcanada.com/faq.php

Thanks again! I hope to hear from you soon ^_^

kathos, yes I do have access to toys. I have shipped many figures, toys, models, etc. so far through my services =) Keep in mind toys available online are preferred as the ones in local stores are very YMMV. Thanks!

For those asking about HD-DVDs I will try to get back to you. The shipping is going to have to be very estimated at this point due to the fact I am not sure how much they will actually weigh (box sets in particular). Also, I've been scheduled to work 5 days straight (I originally had today off, but my work changed my schedule...doh!).

Thanks for your patience ^_-

No sweat goomba! I also wanted to ask you, do you happen to have any wired Xbox 360 controllers, or seen any around for a good deal? They are $29.99 on amazon.com, but I'm trying to snag a better deal heh

game_fanatic, I haven't seen them on sale in a good while. The cheapest I ever saw was around $20 USD but honestly after shipping and everything that'd still be around $29.99 CAD or so, so it's not really much cheaper. I'll let you know if I find anything but I doubt I'd do much better than that. Thanks!

goomba,

The HD-DVD prices are too good for me to pass up. :)

I'm looking to grab the following through your service:

Lost in Translation
Hot Fuzz
Mystery Men
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Being John Malkovich
The 40-Year-Old Virgin

Thanks in advance. :)

They can normally be had for $28.40 USD w/ free shipping here (OOS at the moment): http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18436

$33.90 USD shipped for wireless (also OOS though): http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18435
Thanks for that Winnopeg! I was considering the DealExtreme deal, are there any other fees or duties tacked on, or is it just the $28.40US total?
I just placed my first order with them a few days ago, but from what I've seen on RFD there shouldn't be. I've read that they put the USD value in the item cost box (in HK$), so it always clears no problem.

TronB, you made the payment perfectly ^_^ I was just at work until about 15 minutes ago. This week they are bleeding me dry at the casino I tell you. One more day though and then I'll have two days off :)

I was able to successfully order all the toys/figures for you as well, so I will let you know when they come in. You will receive an Email when they ship with the shipping info and such. And yes, if you pay in full with Non-Credit Card funds I will refund you the original payment in full (which negates the credit card fees). Anytime now in the next 60 days ^_^ Thanks!

Thanks again! If you have any other questions let me know.

Just so you guys know, I just got home from work (long day). I will be sending you invoices for those who requested them (HD-DVDs and such). If you don't get it by 3:30 AM then you should receive it tomorrow as I"ll be home until 7PM (back to work lol). Thanks!

More Good News: For those of you who ordered Ar Tonelico 2 from me, I just got an Email from Rosenqueen saying that they shipped (YEAH! FINALLY!). So I should have those out to you by the end of the week ^_^ Thanks! If you want to add insurance (if you haven't already) let me know. It'll be an additional $2.00 USD. Thanks.

Well Firestorm, yes and no. I do have one extra, but I was planning on keeping it for myself as a collector's item of sorts (I still have yet to play the first one despite having around 6 copies left, with the bonus CDs =P). If it comes back in stock on Rosenqueen I'll be sure to let you guys know. These items tend to be very limited, which is why I try to get the word out ASAP. I ordered AT2 sets back in October or November (no lie). It was originally coming out the first week of December but got pushed back =P sorry!

Azumangaman, here is an estimate of what it'd cost for all your HD-DVDs including shipping to Canada:

Bourne Identity
The Pianist
Casino
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Born on the Fourth Of July
Mercury Rising
Carlitos Way
The Game
Monty Python's Meaning Of Life
Friday Night Lights
Serenity
Seed Of Chucky
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

Azumangaman, here is an estimate of what it'd cost for all your HD-DVDs including shipping to Canada:

$67.00 - Actual cost of Movies from Closeoutmovies/Amazon.com
$30.00 - Actual cost of shipping from Closeoutmovies/Amazon.com
$43.00 - Estimated shipping cost for 13 movies (seperate packages), ~7 pounds or so total.
$05.00 - Special Bulk Rate for custom orders with multiple similar items
----------------------------------------------------
$145.00 USD altogether

Let me know if you are interested or not. For others asking about HD-DVDs use this as a model. Please note I do not get free shipping from this seller even though they sell on Amazon.com, hence the shipping costs. Thanks guys ^_^

PS: The shipping costs may in fact be less. This is just an estimate to be on the safe side. I think it's pretty close to the actual cost.

Hooray! Finally it's out...

I know isn't it exciting? The wait just seemed to never end for the delays. I was beginning to worry that it'd become the newest "Duke Nukem Forever". According to Rosenqueen/UPS it should be coming here Thursday or Friday. You can be sure I'll take pictures and that I'll send them out ASAP once they get here ^_^

Could someone maybe fill me in on what makes this game so exciting? I've honestly never even heard of Ar Tonelico 1, or Rosenqueen for that matter. Might be worth looking into if so many CAG's are interested in it.

I'm going to have to pass. Spending $80 on shipping is madness (not your fault).
Also, thats around 180 CDN, so that works out to around $12 per HDDVD, so thats a bit much for me :)

game_fanatic, well the Ar Tonelico series is a particularly good one, but the limited edition set comes with the art book/CD and all that for the same price that the game sells alone, which makes it particularly tempting. In addition, Rosenqueen.com is the official store in which NIS America products are sold (they have a ton of great things).

Azumangaman, I kind of had a feeling of that (which is why I didn't rush to get the invoice out). At this point in time I pretty much have a good sense of what deals will be tempting to you guys. Many times the deals sound good, but when you figure in shipping (especially if it's not free shipping from the retailer) it adds up fast. Oh well. There's another 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back (haha, just kidding ^_^).

If any stores sell the HD-DVDs with free shipping just let me know. A few of them did have free shipping (but only a couple of them).

Figured as much, I'll pass on the HD DVDs too. If an Amazon seller has those titles cheap, I'd bet they'll hit retailers here cheap soon enough anyway. I love hitting those $5 HD DVD bins. :)

Yeah, that is quite a deal. Though I'm partial to Blu-Rays (and I suppose partially responsible for the death of the HD-DVD), I think that I'd definitely collect HD-DVDs if I had the player to do so :) At this point though it's not really necessary for me as I have Netflix and seldom watch a movie twice anyway.

I've made it my personal goal to basically only buy animated movies (for some reason I can watch those a thousand times over). I love Blu-Ray animated movies because you can pause them frame by frame and they're so clear. Or, watch them in slow motion and see how animators pull off different things. Totally worth it :)

Goomba may already know this, but I am a hardcore NIS/Atlus fan. Enough said! lol

Ar Tonelico 1 boxset was regarded as one of the rarest PS2 RPGs (mainly due to limited printings) but not any more thanks to the reprint. The game itself isn't much challenging (as expected as it's in line with Atelier Iris series) but overall I enjoyed the game so much.

Yes danthemightyone DEFINITELY without question wins the NIS/Atlus fan-award of 2008. Nearly 90% of his orders are from Rosenqueen I would say and he's nabbed quite a good amount of great pre-order bonuses and collectible items :) These things are really fun and make great decorations for hardcore collectors/gamers alike. Ar Tonelico 2 is simply the latest in great NIS traditions :)
goomba, how much would it be to ship this?
http://www.amazon.com/Band-Brothers-Blu-ray-Damian-Lewis/dp/B00129H7VS/

Roughly 1.45 lbs. Apparently Amazon is charging a $5 "import fee" on top of the $8 shipping to Canada. $13 USD shipping kills the deal a bit...
Good call stormy, seems to be a great price, although with the paypal conversion I don't know if we'd come out ahead by much. Doesn't hurt to check though.

Band of Brothers on Blu Ray is a great deal on Amazon :) I've gone ahead and listed it on the store on GamesForCanada.com, but that price includes the fees/credit card processing and stuff.

Here is what it costs if you pay with non-Credit Card funds:

$43.00 = Band of Brothers Cost on Amazon.com (Affiliate seller with shipping)
$10.50 = Cost of shipping 1.5 - 2.0 lb package to Canada [Actual cost may be lower, but this is based on the ~2 pound estimate)
$02.00 = Service Charge from GFC
---------------------------------
$45.50 USD Grand Total

If the price comes back down again then obviously you'd substitute the first value for the lower cost. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was at work and CAG is kind of buggy on my iPhone sometimes.

ar-tonelico-2_MED.jpg

For those of you who are looking for Ar Tonelico 2 (not the special set, but the PS2 game alone) I have set up a page for you on my GFC store here:

http://www.gamesforcanada.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=60

Please note that this price includes ALL fees that would normally be charged by my Direct Request Service (paid with a Credit Card).

If you are interested in a price quote with direct funds/non-Credit Card payment, please let me know as I offer a 6% discount for cash payments through Paypal direct.

Baztian, you're quite welcome. Thank YOU for using my services. I only make $2-$3 on most sales, but if I build my customer base up enough then that'll be good money some day (hopefully). My dream honestly is to do this full time as it's something I genuinely enjoy. It helps you guys, it helps me and it could potentially allow me more time with my friends/family. Someday, down the road when I have kids then it will allow me to take care of them while the wife is at work and such.

GFC has only just begun :) I intend to make this service as good as humanly possible. In my mind there are no limits. Only time limits which unfortunately drag me down. If I didn't have two nearly full time jobs in the way, I know I could do a LOT!
