GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.
Potential Service Add-On for GamesForCanada.com:

Hey guys, as you know I'm working on ways to improve the GFC site and one thing I'm considering is to allow you guys to send me games for credit. Rather than be a Gamestop clone and give you X amount of dollars for game that costs 3X, I'd rather work on something more beneficial to both of us. My idea is this:

1) You guys can send me in games, systems, DVDs or whatever.
2) I can list them on eBay for you (I'll do the listing, selling, shipping).
3) I subtract the eBay fees and say 5-10% for my service and the rest is yours. You can either take cash (through Paypal) or get store credit for my store or my Direct Request services.

Doing it this way would mean you could potentially get higher values for your items (as many buyers in the US don't buy from Canada) or you could flip games that are easily available in Canada but are more expensive in the US and such. Seeing as the CAD is so low right now, this might actually work to your advantage. Because a $50 CAD game that sells for $48 USD would actually put you ahead. If you find a game that's on sale or that you traded for a great deal, you could definitely come out ahead.

Let me know if this seems too crazy to work. I tend to like crazy ideas :)
I think that is a great idea. I dont know if I would use it personaly or not as I think with all the sales I did the past 3 months I might have qualified as a power seller which gives a nice discount. I havent looked at your ebay page recently but are you a power seller?

Powerseller discounts are nice, but they're not as good as they sound. I qualified for 20% last month and it's just 20% off the final value fees.

Meaning if your fees are $10.00 you save $2.00. But getting the 20% is really, really difficult and usually you'll get 5%-15% at most. It's a nice extra, but doesn't add up as much as you'd think (especially if you're a store owner). Once you figure in Paypal and all that stuff it's largely negated =p

I've been a Powerseller for over a year now =) Working towards Silver at the moment ^_^ So yes, I speak from experience. Fun being a Powerseller but doesn't give you half as many benefits as you'd expect lol.

If I qualify it will be for the 15%. I always get complaints from Americans about shipping times, one even went as far as to give me a negative because it took a whole 9 business days to get there. Since I have been listing a lot of BIN auctions in the games section I wouldnt mind the 15% break as I have been charged over $1000 in final value fees over the last 3 months.

Yeah, the 15% does add up. I'm not saying it doesn't :) But for as much as eBay charges you'd think they'd give even more incentives for PowerSellers seeing as they do almost all the work for eBay. Without them there'd be very little business.

Yeah 9 business days is an eternity when you really want a game and too many buyers are ignorant of shipping times and procedures (unfortunately). I feel your pain there. Best of luck to you and welcome to the club ;)

No. To this day I have NEVER found a penny guide :( I would love to come across one, but never have been lucky enough. I even drove 300 miles to all the Best Buys around here and no luck. Guess it's not in the cards for me ^_^

Glad to hear that you got my toys! Don't worry about the Mega Man box, I'll be opening it as soon as I get it anyway.....:D

Just to let you know I sent you payment again with direct funds this time.

Hi Goomba, I saw in a different thread that you had some used copies of SMT: Nocturne. I'm interested, depending on the price. How much are you looking for?

I do in fact have two used (and near mint) copies of Nocturne. Not really sure ... care to make an offer? I didn't actually go through and price a lot of my stuff lately. I'm way behind. I just hired someone yesterday (my wife actually) to start helping with the business. She's going to officially start tomorrow as her first day, so the good news is that I will start catching up a lot more now :) Thanks for looking!

game_fanatic, I could be wrong but I think that was from another seller that charged like $10 shipping or so which came out to be the same price as the Amazon price in the end (Amazon has free shipping). I'm not sure though :) I didn't wake up until 1:30 PM today because they kept me late last night at work (again).

hey goomba,

I was wondering if you can pick up two copies of Wii Sports from the gamestop website as they have some in stock at the moment.
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41KTCMERA3L._SL500_AA280_.jpg

Firestorm, these would be $100 + 10 + $2 = $112 USD to Canada (estimated). Thanks!
Ok. I'll give my brother the payment instructions once his paypal funds are done going from his bank to his account.

And yeah it was $89.95 from Amazon before. I checked. Maybe it'll be down again when he orders =)

Hmmm, just was looking Firestorm and the headphones are listed at $86USD at the moment.

Sejad, yes I still have around 30 of them ^_^ Firestorm's prices are correct...

Also guys, I went to almost 20 gamestops yesterday (no lie, I have the odometer readings to prove it) and the stores that listed "SMT: Devil Summoner" as in stock or "NEW" were not accurate. One store had it labeled as new, but it had no box and no manual...they refused to give it to me at the used price so I told them to forget it. And several stores didn't have anything to show. Either the employees are hiding them in the back, or they really need to update Gamestop's inventory for that game online. Sorry guys.

Jest, so glad you got your soundcard. Rock on buddy!

LouisVouistondonn, yes I do accept CC payments for the Live Card, though it comes to $35 total with credit card ($33 * 1.06) due to Paypal fees. Thanks!

CrushEm...unfortunately Amazon no longer price matches themselves anymore. Once a price comes down, the only way to get the difference back is to return the item (buyer pays shipping) to Amazon and re-order the item. It'll probably cost around the same to mail it back as the price difference would be, though I'd do it if you really wanted. Let me know.

They are out of stock last I checked. They have them available shipping from Target but you'd have to pay tax and shipping for each game. Let me know if that's worth it to you :) Thanks!

nah it's cool then. The only reason why I wanted them was to flip and re-sell them later.

Yeah I figured as much when you said you wanted a "couple copies" of them ;) It's all good. I can't blame you. From one flipper to the next ^_^

Darn you americans and your copies actually containing the code in them. I bought 3 copies off of Amazon.ca on boxing day for $36 each and not one of them contained the codes and MS refused to issue me replacement codes. Oh well $36 for just the game was a bargain anyways and it made my brothers in law happy.

Hey can you send me a invoice for 2 Xbox 12month+1 codes, also these will work in Canada for sure right?....I remember buying one from you I think ubt not sure. You can do email delivery right?

Hey goomba I am looking for a disc repair machine and am having no luck finding any decent ones in Canada. Do you have any experience with a good disc repair machine that you could recommend for me and perhaps pick up for me. I am looking for one that leaves the disc looking new without any sanding marks on it. So far all I have found is this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000GX31G6/ref=dp_olp_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1233941286&sr=1-35. Do you mind giving me a price shipped for it and also if you have any experience with disc repair machines could you recommend one?

I think I am gonna.. :cry::cry::cry:

Thanks a lot for checking for us! At least we now know we couldn't trust those online inventories and my hope to get my hand on it have diminish. Oh well it seems ill continue to look around eBay and Kijiji or bite the bullets and pay $49 from DeepDiscount.com.

Just so you guys know, my main hosting server (Improcomics.org) which I use for all my email and site updates and such is down. The hosting I got from wiredhub.net is having all sorts of problems so I am moving the server hosting over to my Host Gator (the one I use for GamesForCanada.com and others like PrizePiggy.com and such). So there may be a 1-2 day delay if you have sent me orders requests or Emails. There is a slight chance that any Emails you sent in the last day or so will be lost for good due to the transition, so if you sent me a request and haven't heard from me, please get back to me.

You can also reach me here: [email protected] as that account doesn't change. THANKS and sorry for the slight inconvenience.

Hey goomba, PM box is getting too full again...
Not sure if I replied to you or not on our previous conversation.
I agreed with your opinion. I think that I would like to have the cheaper version of the game rather than the Rosen Maiden version if you are able to hold onto it for me until my cash situation is better. Also, if you coul keep an eye out for me on the PS2 siuation I mentioned previously, that would be great! ;)

Good news everyone! I was able to successfully move over my servers to the new ones, so now my Emails should work! Here is a list of ones that are currently working now. Feel free to use any of them to contact me:

Goomba478 @ gmail.com
jj @ improcomics.org
jjparks @ improcomics.org
jj @ gamesforcanada.com

All of those should work without any problem now. I've also gone ahead and updated the Direct Request page to include the new servers listings, so that should work without any problem now. I won't be as active on the forums this week because I am focusing on shipping out all my backlogged orders (nearly there) and listing new items on eBay to clear office space and get some much-needed cash. Thanks for everything and sorry for the slight delay with some of the orders. I appreciate your patience!

mberkes, yes :) Sorry ... my Email was all screwed up. It went out today as a matter of fact. I will forward you the information about the shipping info. Thanks ^_^
