GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.
I'm interested in some of the Amazon lightning deals and was wondering if I would be able to get the information needed to ship to your UPS store? If we are to purchase items via this method, are we supposed to notify you of the item through the Direct Request form?
I would also like to know if I could ship things to you and than have you ship them to me.

Okay guys, I PM'd the UPS information and instructions to all of you who asked. If you didn't receive it or if you'd like me to send it to you, please let me know :) Thanks!

Yes please.

Thanks goomba for the help. Unfortunately I was too late for the Tekken 6 bundle (100% sold). I'll have this for next time though. BTW, if we have stuff sent to your UPS box, we just send a DR saying it's ours right?

Corizzle, Coming right up.

Telepathy, yes, PLEASE let me know via DR otherwise I'm going to get everyone's orders mixed up (you'd be surprised how many of you guys order the same or very similar items ^_^). Thanks!!

Goomba, what do you think the chances are of ordering PS2 games from EB and getting the boxart? Im thinking of using the B2G1 with Cold Winter, Monster Rancher 3, Blood Omen 2, and Shadow of Destiny... I can't think of 2 more. Any suggestions?

Thanks, if I order any more stuff for Black Friday I will be sure to use you and save some money. Had I known about the UPS thing I could have saved myself about $5 more on UFC but unfortunately I didn't and it's too late to cancel via Amazon :bomb:

Rogan, almost all games now guarantee case/manual from the Gamestop website. They changed their policy on this :) Thank God. Yes Rogan, I got your pre-payment. the $55 was including that. I credited your account both of the eChecks and deducted $45 for the goHastings order.

Corizzle, no problem. The UPS thing is something relatively new (last month or so) and I didn't really have it set up before the way I do now. So just remember if you order there to let me know via DR :) Thanks!

** UPS Address Update **

Apparently guys, some of you are having some problems with ordering from Amazon.com with my UPS address. If they ask you to add 4 digits to the end of my Zip Code, that's fine (the numbers are 06226-1100 for the 9-digit Zip Code). For the phone number if they ask you can use my number (it's at the bottom of my PDF invoices I sent out. If you need it you can ask me via PM or you can just use your phone number. Either way). Any other issues let me know! Thanks ^_^

Yeah, the thing is Goomba, if you look at the fine print... last generation games arn't guaranteed.

Eww @ the $12 shipping for the GoHastings order :p

(P.S.: Remember that I had $28 (ebay) + 49.50 (left over from last order) + $5 amazon code I DR'd you in credit before the $100 that cleared yesterday... I have the paypal receipts of me refunding you money that you refunded me... Heh... This credit is getting confusing ha ha).

I'd like your UPS information too please!

Hah, my shipping quote was $16  I'm totally waffling on my GoHastings order cause I don't know how good they are with boxs/manuals... Goomba, do you have an idea if they're usually hit or miss?

I took the boxes and manuals for granted... I am assuming the only retailer that's lame enough is gamestop to do anything otherwise.

Boxart I can print out myself on my photopaper and laser printer with perfect results, so I'm not too worried...

How much did your order come to rag?

I'm now just a little irritated that I still have amazon black friday left... Atleast, I got most of the PS2 games I want now besides Fatal Frame... $3 for PS2 games definitely are a killer deal -- No bargain bins like that in BC besides game deals, but they don't generally have what I'm looking for.

I'm at $67.50 with 6 games. Those $3 games quickly add up to $7-8 with shipping to Goomba + his service charge + shipping up here. Still cheap for some great games though.

Sadly I don't have a decent printer, and I'm far too picky to want a game without a box...

Edit: Ahhh I just sent the monies. Goomba, lemme know if Indigo Prophecy or Monster Hunter show up incomplete. The rest are easily replaceable, so I'm not going to lose sleep over em

ragnar14, I honestly have no idea as I have never ordered from them before. I just ordered almost 75 games from them though because of this sale so we'll find out soon enough :) I'll put your order in for you. No problem, thanks again.

RoganSarine, I guess you're right. I thought their new guarantee was for all games ... guess I missed some of the fine print. Good to know though, thanks.

I'm off to my University job now guys. Talk to you soon! Today is a half day there (getting out at 2 PM). I'm going to go and check the UPS store and see if we have anything :) Adios for now!

day-before-thanksgiving-2009.jpg

Okay guys, I think it's safe to say that we're going to outdo ourselves this year. The above photo are all the packages that came today...the day BEFORE Thanskgiving, not the day after (Black Friday). Looking forward to the insanity of BF 2009 :) Just look at this photo every time you wonder why it takes me up to a week to process your packages during busy seasons. ^_^

Absolutely! So guys just so you know. Tonight I am unboxing, tomorrow I'll be out of town visiting family and 2AM or so Friday morning I will be up taking live orders for Amazon's Black Friday sale. If you can't stay up all night or if you want to order items yourself, please request my UPS account information so you can order for yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you :)

There will be a lot of sales this weekend thru "Cyber Monday" so any sales going on will likely sell out rather fast. Amazon is the main one to check as they have free shipping, no tax and great prices. Stores like Best Buy tend to be a lot of in-store only deals which I can't get and they charge shipping and 6% Sales Tax. NewEgg is good but again sales sell out fast. So keep your eyes peeled and if you want my UPS account info, just ask. Thanks!

Goomba, did you get my EB order?

Wow, that in a SINGLE day? How the heck do you fit that in your vehicle (Or was that all delivered to your door :|)

Hey guys, I just recently signed up to this site and came across this thread about a week or so ago and have been mentally shopping everyday since finding out Goomba exists :)

Goomba: I was wondering the most efficient way for this to work. As a new member, you don't know me from a hole in the ground, and it being Black Friday week you're going to be swamped with orders from customers with a good track record. What's the best method for me to get in on the action for some Black Friday sales? My brother plans to come over and do some live shopping tomorrow night/friday morning (I'm in Vancouver - I believe a lot of the sales start at 2am PST).

I'm curious what the best way to go about soliciting your services is. I realize you're going to be incredibly busy, but am wondering if you're accepting new clients during this crazy time of year :)

Thanks for your time.

-Pete

Rogan, I haven't processed the newest orders but I will be going through them tonight and tomorrow inbetween turkey eating. Half were picked up at UPS and other half delivered to my door :)

flames23, this week is sort of an exception to the rule. Normally I get items shipped out within 2-3 days at most but this week sales will mean I get a lot of orders so it may be 1-2 weeks total after ordering that I get your items out. I will ship them out as soon as they come in to me, but I process orders in the order I receive them so...

The best way for you to get in on the Black Friday sales are to order your items yourself and ship to my UPS address (I can give you the information about this if you like). Otherwise you'll have to use my direct request form on my website here:

http://www.gamesforcanada.com/direct-request.php

They work for sales that are longer term or all-day. Not the best to use for quick sales that end really quickly like 30 minute sales or limited availability. If you have any other questions let me know. Oh and we always accept new customers lol.

Ah, alright Goomb. I was just wondering if you put the order in yet because I am curious if I calculated my final total correctly in the invoice (Free Shipping + 10% off + B2G1)

Let me just apologize in advance in case I miss anyone's orders that are time-based. I'm warning you now, I've already missed two deals due to time contraints. If you are worried about a limited time deal, please use the UPS option :)

Myv, I'm sending you the UPS account info now :)

telepathy, that's not even all the packages. I have more upstairs too (nearly 50 or so). It's absolutely insane. I can already tell you the next week I will be packing so just be happy to get deals :) I obviously can't process these all immediately working two jobs and visiting family for Thanksgiving. As long as I get the packages though we're good to go right? ^_^

So Goomba, do you sleep on the boxes too? I can't imagine how you have enough roof for a kitchen, a bedroom, and a gaming room with THAT many packages.

Yeah well...um...yeah we basically do :) This week anyway. My living room and computer room are filled to the brim, as are my cars and my kitchen too. It's a bit nutty (hence the reason I wanted to buy a house, but oh well). I'll get a bigger place eventually :)

If I didn't work 2 jobs then I'd have time to process these around the clock, but unfortunately I do not yet have that luxury ^_^ Tomorrow I'm trekking across Connecticut to visit my father and brother (who I haven't seen in nearly half a year or more) and then back to local areas to visit my grandparents and other side of the family. It'll be absolutely busy and then as you know I'm staying up late for the Amazon sales, getting up early to work at the casino and going to a concert at the casino at night with college friends who I haven't seen in nearly 9 years. Talk about a day!

If I can make it through this week, by golly, I can do anything!

Hey Goomba. Sweet site you have here ;)

It's Ryan, I recently emailed you about the L4D2 - in which I sent the cc payment hours before the sale ended. So I'm assuming you didn't get a chance to order it as you seem to be quite busy, which is understandable. How does the refund work? Or do you simply reject the credit payment? My brother used his cc and he says it definitely went through. How does it look on your end?

I guess I'll take the UPS info too. I'm sure I'll just get common deals of Amazon or whatever, but it clears up a lot of the hassle of pre-paying or whatever.

So... How long till some noob sends Goomba a package and then never pays to have it shipped to him, or maybe freaks out over Goomba's $2 service charge and ragequits. Eventually Goomba will be getting free games

Ragnar, sometimes I actually think about doing so, ha ha... *orders a bunch of stuff... realizes that it's gonna cost him like $40 to ship it to him... twitches*

I'm generally saving up on the amazon gift cards to get free shipping from Goomba... Saves me the heartache.

Sepharite, unfortunately I was at work when you sent the money so your assumption is right. I didn't get it in time (one of the problems of limited time sales unfortunately). I will refund you in full via Paypal so no worries. If you want, I can hold the money for you a few days to see if the price pops back up for the Black Friday Sales. You will get 100% of your money back though so no worries. Very sorry I missed it, I tried to get it and like you said it went back to normal price :(

Rogan, yes the sale starts at midnight EST for some stores and 3AM EST for stores that are on the west coast. So yeah, crazy night!

Okay guys, time for me to go get a great Canadian breakfast at Tim Hortons! See you tonight. I'm off to celebrate Turkey Day and will be on later with you. If you want my UPS address remember to contact me via PM or Email. I will try to get back to you from the road but it may take a little longer than usual. Thanks guys!

jeffx, you can prepay via Paypal but if you do then you'll have to figure out the fees or shipping or whatever yourself. I have about 15 DR's I haven't gotten around to sending yet because of the holiday. Working on it though. If you want to order to my UPS address you can do that also.

And yes, if you order something and it turns out too expensive to ship then I'd have ask you to pay return shipping to the company. That's something you need to realize when ordering to my UPS store obviously. I charge fair shipping prices as you know, but for the convenience of ordering yourself you do have to remember that I'll have to manually type in your shipping invoice + service fees separately. Thanks for understanding!
