GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Turns out I underestimated the weight of the board significantly, just talked to a mate that got the same package.

The total weight of the 2 items is close to 4.5kg
or 9.9lb

What price would I be looking at now, inc insurance?
Sorry for all the hassle Goomba :*(

Oh dex_BN, sorry to hear that. You're looking at around $75 USD for shipping/insurance to Australia for an item of that weight. Not sure if that kills the deal for you or not. Let me know either way. Talk to you soon. No problem, no hassle... :) that's what I do!

Haha, sadly enough that isn't a deal breaker for me, dam Aussies want to charge me about 750AU for the same deal.

Thanks for all your help, expect to be hearing from me again within the next month or so :)

Alright well I look forward to working with you buddy. Keep us in mind and by the time you're ready to order our webpage will be waiting ^_^

wizic, your games are in and should be shipping out today or tomorrow :) I'm still just playing catch up from the days my computer was down. Keep an eye on your Email inbox for shipping info when it ships.

telepathy, not yet. I'll probably be listing them on Wednesday. Tonight I'll be focusing on catching up on invoices and doing some eBay things with the wife. I'll get to it as soon as I can ^_^ I'll be selling items on a rolling basis anyway so the lowball sale will continue to roll on. I have plenty of stock trust me =P

Another batch of Xbox 360 Live cards came in today so we should be all caught up now. I will send the codes later today when I get home from work (probably around 9:00 PM). If you have ordered a card (or several cards) from me and haven't received them, please let me know if you don't have them after tonight. Thanks guys. I'm working as hard as I can to catch up with all your orders :) The new laptop system is really working out for me and I'm surprised how much faster my Quickbooks and other software runs in Windows 7. Things are looking positive again!

telepathy, my copy of "Devil Summoner" has the game and artwork but is missing the manual. Would you still be interested? If not let me know as this was a personal copy of mine. I believe the game was bought New at a Gamestop but they didn't have the manual. Let me know. Thanks.

I added your bid for SOTN. I may hold onto Ikaruga for now and Nocturne as those are also my personal copies but we'll see :)

o ok thanks for replying, hope to see you get back to normal operation.
o one more thing regarding blazblue i thought someone also wanted to order that here for that 2 for 15 deal, if not i can add another item as well if you can not find devil summoner 2 w/ bonus for ps2.
i can wait for the shippment all at once, i'm not in a hurry.
The only reason to have a desktop is if your desktop is significantly more powerful than your laptop, but it still suffers the issue of portability. Just like you, my laptop outpowered my desktop, so it gets canned in favour of using my laptop as my primary. It can be good as a backup though sometimes.
how is your laptop better than your desktop lol. if both have same specs desktop will always be cheaper
how is your laptop better than your desktop lol. if both have same specs desktop will always be cheaper
My desktop is a hand-me-down piece of shit & the laptop is something I bought 2 years ago. You are right that part for part, a desktop is cheaper, but I needed something portable for school & stuff. When I get around to getting another desktop, it will definitely be nicer than my current laptop.
helluvagood, sure did. That is also shipping out tomorrow first thing :) Busy night for me. Thanks again!
all right! awesome to hear that:bouncy:
how long does it usually take to ship to Canada from your place? 12 days?

From here to Alberta? Tends to be closer to 7 days but we'll see. Each and every package is different. I've even had a package get to Toronto in 3 days and another to Toronto take 15, so it's really quite random =)

But you should definitely have it within 10 or less in most circumstances. Thanks again!

cool cool =) 7 days is not bad!

thanks!

Yeah, shipping time can be kinda random. Those 3 packages Goomba sent me back on the 14th/15th/16th finally all arrived. The first two showed up back on the 25th, and the last one showed up today  Anyways, thanks! I guess I'll leave you some feedback now.

Edit: Or not... There doesn't seem to be any way to leave feedback anymore. There seems to be a new system, and no links to click anywhere for adding feedback.

Hey Goomba et al, just wondering if anyone knows of some good xbox live gold deals? I'm down for either of 1 month, 3 month or 1 year deals. My account expired today. I'm willing to pay around $35 for a year or $10-12 for a 3 month card. If it's for one month, I'll pay $5 til I can find a good year deal.

Thanks guys.

Okay Lockescythe, I'll keep you in mind in case telepathy or others don't want it without the book. The game itself is near mint condition though :) Care to make an offer?

What's this about blazblue 2 for 15 deal?

the $15 off GS sale was:
Calling all gamers! Head over to GameStop's online store for savings of 15% off any 2 in-stock titles found in the store. After loading your cart with a couple of fantastic titles for Xbox, Wii, PS3, and many other platforms, apply coupon code SAVE15 at checkout. Keep coming back to use this coupon through 01/31/2010. (it's expired though...)

CrushEm, that's actually correct. The time is showing up in UNIX timecode format :)

RoganSarine, I can get you the Wolverine Origins Uncaged Edition for $22 USD shipped if you're interested (Used/Complete). Let me know!

Oooh, $22 after being shipped for the ps3? That's actually really good... If it is... I may just jump on that.

Where you getting it from anyway? o_O

I may want to wait and see what I can snag from your lowball sale, but if it's a 'now or never' that doesn't seem like a bad price.

Yes $22.00 USD shipped :) Let's just say I'm making a sort of no-profit type deal for you because you've been a good customer over the years ^_^ I have to keep some of my sources secret though! hehe.

You have like 2 days to accept otherwise it's going on eBay :) Thanks!

Yeah, I should have enough money for ~$50 for the month... I'll take it.

Pain in the ass to keep my bank account high when monopolized insurance companies screw you on insurance in like 6 different directions. X_x Hopefully, they'll actually GIVE me my discount this year... unlike the last several.

No problem Rogan, if you're committed to it then I'll hold onto it for a week or whatever you need. God knows I have enough to keep me busy for now ^_^ I will keep it on the side for you, just please don't change your mind as I need to sell as many games as possible to raise money for my wife's ticket. Thanks!

Heya goomba, all my games showed up perfect as always, just letting you know and tossing you feedback

Btw outta curiosity, did you manage to get those xbox live subscription cards from your UPS acct yet?

Edit: Can't seem to figure out how to leave feedback using the new system, will do so tm once I hear back from CheapyD, thanks for the quick reply :)

That is fantastic! Glad to hear it Maigoyume. I am actually sending yours now. Last thing I'm doing before going to bed :) Just sent about 20 invoices. packed about 7 packages and sent out all the other cards. Thanks again ^_^ Keep an eye on your inbox in about 5 minutes! Have a good one guys...cya tomorrow!
Okay Lockescythe, I'll keep you in mind in case telepathy or others don't want it without the book. The game itself is near mint condition though :) Care to make an offer?
Lockscythe can have it if he wants, I was trying to get a copy which had a book (since mine is also bookless at the moment.

oh no this is over i guess no blazblue T__T

Sorry wizic, I didn't know when the sale ended either. Besides my store didn't have the other game you wanted so it probably wouldn't have made a difference. Sorry anyhow though :( I'm almost entirely caught up now with Direct Requests and it looks like the roads are too bad where I live today, so I may be staying home from work and just catching up with the rest of the GFC orders today.

Hey Goomba,

I just wanted to let you know that I've placed my first GFC direct request order, paid in full .. albeit by CC -- but oh well.
The website DR process is flawless (or at least from what I've experienced, so far from my lone transaction).

Let me know if I managed to screw anything up somehow.

Thanks for the feedback Apollo! There's still a lot more to come. I haven't implemented the Rewards System yet (still debating on the best way to do that) but you are still racking up points for it even if you don't know it :) Also, in the future I will have a section for you to see individual order histories just for your orders (sort of a private GYROS updater) as well.

I will go check out your DR in a few minutes. Thanks again! Happy to have you on board!

I posted this offer on the lowball thread.

bah what kind of bid would you want for suikoden devil summoner 1 and izuna.

Guh 50$ US shipped for the three?

Lockescythe, I appreciate the offer but a near mint copy of Suikoden 1 is pretty rare as you probably know. That game alone sells for around $50. I would know because it's my personal copy ^_^ I do have it on the PSN download now, but I'm not ready to sell it just yet. Here's a recently sold one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Suikoden-1-Play...temQQptZVideo_Games_Games?hash=item1c0f86e30d

Just for reference :) I will probably list Izuna 1 / 2 and Devil Summoner 1 though soon!
I haven't implemented the Rewards System yet
I was just about to ask about this.
Reason: I'd like to spend as little as possible but I've heard the blu ray Criterion Pierrot Le Fou is going out of print. Therefore, I need it now :p
I only ask because the reward system mentions "discounts" and I have a crazy amount of Canuck Bucks (even though the site says I have $0, I'm pretty sure I have somewhere from $13-15) and I'd love to get whatever sort of "discount" on this that the system would deliver.
Anyway, here's the link:
http://www.amazon.com/Pierrot-fou-C...ef=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1265219278&sr=8-1

If there's anyway you could apply some sort of something, let me know. I am an ever so loyal customer after all (which is apparent from my mass of Canuck Bucks). If you can't do anything, I'd still appreciate an invoice.

I know that. I was lowballing it. Because well its a lowball auction. I actually just wanted a mint box one because I have no clue where mine is currently.

The Izuna isn't worth more than 10ish IIRC.
Suikoden goes for 37+ on ebay. You could easily fetch least 40 so don't worry bout it.

So yeah I was lowballing lol.

I'll offer 30 USD for Summoner(no book) + Izuna shipped though. LMK.

To give you guys an idea of where I'm going with the Rewards System I am thinking of the following:

* You will earn 10-25% of your GFC Service Charge back as Canuck Bucks.
* Your Canuck Bucks will be used for the following: Direct Rewards Catalog (example a game may be $20 Canuck Bucks to get it free including shipping), Lowball Auctions (here they would count 1:1 as real money would, so if you win an item for $10 and have 8 Canuck Bucks, you'd only pay $2.00 out of pocket) and for fee-less Direct Request Orders (just an example: use $5 Canuck Bucks to get your next DR fee-free).

The reason I haven't implemented them yet is I want to get the core functions flawless before I go into this. I want the Direct Request forms to work perfectly (nearly there), the Lowball to be fully functioning (with output pages and such) and I want to tie up some loose ends to make sure it doesn't just go redeeming your points or issuing you points randomly :)

But yeah, my goal is to have this done within the next month at least for BETA users.

For those of you who have asked me to calculate your Canuck Bucks in the past, you will probably start seeing them show up in the GFC website within the next week or two so keep an eye on it when you log in. Again, I'm trying to make it as easy to use as possible and to give you a reason to use my services again and again, as well as return, log in and keep record of your past purchases.

You guys will like the new system :) guaranteed.

Lockescythe ^_^ I don't blame you for a second, and yes I realize it's called a Lowball auction for a reason :) Just in this particular case I'm being very specific about what I'm selling via Auction because I'm literally on the verge of bankruptcy right now and given my financial status I have to try to squeeze as much money out of my remaining stock as possible. Since GFC is more or less a risk-free business with very little overhead, I have to sell my old merchandise for as much as possible to ensure that I can keep doing this GFC thing and also as you probably know my wife is trying to go back to China to visit her family and I still need to raise about $1000 USD by 02/10. I'll make it, but I'm going to sell as many high-ticket items as I can to reach it. The lower games with under $20 in value will be the ones I typically auction :) Hope that makes sense. Thanks again though!

I'm not sure if any of you guys were having a problem putting bids in on the Lowball Auction, but I think I found the issue. So if you could, please go to the Lowball site and try to bid on my test item (no crazy bids just pretend it was a normal auction and bid like a dollar more or whatever. Want to see if it's working now.

Thanks!
