GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.
PooPooRocket, I just checked with Adorama Camera and your camera Lens Hood is in my town now but has not been delivered, which means more than likely it should be here tomorrow :) I will of course keep you posted. No need for you to check in, I'll tell you as soon as it's delivered and will Email you when it ships out. Thanks buddy!
Awesome. Thank you so much, Goomba!

Hi goomba478, I would like to know if you've receive my Street Fighter IV FightStick TE Xbox 360 (invoice #1088). The answer is probably no because I haven't receive an email and it's not written on the GYROS page that you've receive it but anyway... I'm at home right now until 2:30 PM and I'll send you the remaining dollars for the shipping costs in case you've got the beast (the thing is heavier than you estimated if I remember correctly).

Best regards,
BaddestMan

P.S.: I hope you'll get your money back.

Hey goomba I just ordered and paid for tales of vesperia xbox 360 so I'l be using your package forwarding service. the expected ship date is april 28. Oh and please ship it to my new address!
Just though Id let you know :)

matthijst, that's AWESOME! I just got to play with an iPad for the first time yesterday at my University and you're right, it's absolutely amazing (far cooler than I had anticipated). And just think, you can say yours flew over the Atlantic Ocean and through a volcanic eruption hehe. So happy for you my friend. Hope to do business with you again in the near future! PS: Love the photo!

PooPooRocket, not a problem. I knew it was probably just slower since it wasn't shipped directly from Amazon. Those 3rd party sellers are always slower =P

BaddestMan, I believe your controller should also be coming in today based on the Amazon Shipping information. I'll be at the casino from 2PM-10PM today but I'll be home all day tomorrow (day off for once, woo hoo!) so I'll keep you posted :)

helluvagood, excellent. I'm glad you used the Package Forwarding option because Amazon.com now won't let me order any more copies of this game (they limit it to two per customer now). Great game though :) Thanks again.
Goomba, has anyone taken advantage of the $10 Amazon credit with Red Dead Redemption through you yet?
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they give you the credit 1-2 days after the release of the game? Or is .com's policies different from .ca's?

xcvmvcx, matt doesn't live in Canada so it'd actually be cheaper for you in this case. I have only one more iPad that I'm allowed to purchase (they limit them to two per customer) though I may be able to get more through my University. If you're seriously interested let me know. Thanks!

spzero, yes they do give it to you a few days after usually but I allow customers to take it off immediately when they pay. So a $60 game is only $50 and I just keep the Amazon GC. Thanks!

Guys I'm off to work now. Be back around 10 or 11 PM. Remember, tomorrow I'll be shipping and processing orders all day so we'll catch up very soon :) We're almost there ^_^ Thanks again for all of your support.

Anywhere from 500 to 830 + shipping. Its a very niche product, I personally can't see why I would ever want or need one, but they certainly seem cool.

Hey Goomba,

I sent you an email detailing something a bit complicated. No rush, but answer would be nice eventually :)

BTW Gombay: Don't you think it's weird nobody has taken advantage of it yet? On a AAA title like that?! Because you get the $10 credit for that game on Amazon.ca as well! LOL sorry Goomba I don't mean to steal your business but it saves him a bunch of money this way. Besides, I'm placing enough orders myself :)

LOL. Thanks.

Hey Goomba, theoretically, how much would it cost to get Amazon's Kindle shipped to Canada?

On the Canadian site it says I would need a US address to get the "Super Saver Shipping" deal but I just saw that Target is going to be selling them come April 25th.

I'm back home guys after a long day at work. Most of the people at the casino were sympathetic to my situation, and I got a full 8+ hours in, so that's good as well. I'm off tomorrow as I mentioned so I'll be doing GFC all day. I'm going to stay up another hour or two tonight to do some invoicing and tomorrow will be mostly packing PF orders and some of the new DR orders that came in. Busy, busy! Thanks again. I'm going to respond now to your individual messages.....

RoganSarine it's all a matter of opinion of course. Yes, the cheapest model is $500 ($530 after tax) but for what it does it's not at all useless really. If you consider that an iPod touch can easily go for $300 or more, or any of the individual things it can do (eReaders are costly, as are music players, wireless web-browsing, Email clients, etc.). Sure it's not exactly the most portable thing (can't fit in your pocket) but for what it does, it does really, really well. It's also a pleasure to read websites and watch movies on that thing. I was REALLY impressed holding it at my University the other day. It's the kind of thing that if I had as a kid in school I probably never would have gotten anything done :) Kids these days are so spoiled haha.

emjaymj, it's all good. I'm not worried with you stealing any of my GFC thunder. If it's cheaper then I'd definitely want people to go that route. Though sometimes with sales tax and all that (I think Amazon.ca charges it, am I correct?) it's not always that much cheaper especially if you plan to order other items that I can bundle with them. But you're right, if Amazon.ca sells it, that would explain why nobody has bought it yet from me :) Oh and I will respond to your Email ASAP. I always process all Emails and orders in the order I receive them so I must be catching up to yours ^_^ I'm almost there. Tomorrow is a full-GFC processing day!

Athena Bast, theoretically it'd cost you around $20.00 USD or so for the shipping and such. You'd still be better off doing the Amazon order though I believe because Target charges 6% sales tax in my state which would add up. No reason to pay extra if you don't have to :) Let me know if you'd be wanting one. I've used a Kindle and they're really beautiful to read on. The iPad has full color and all that fancy stuff like manga, comics and movies but for just pure text reading, nothing beats a Kindle.

Hey Goomba,

I would like to get an item from newegg.com. And I m trying to use package forward service with newegg, but the check out process pose a problem. Paypal, CC has to verified address. If you have an account can I send you the link for the item.

Thanks.

Yes I do have a verified account with Paypal and have ordered from NewEgg thousands of times :) If you want to put in an order with us just go to:

http://www.gamesforcanada.com/direct-request.php

If you want the item to be processed immediately, then please pay through the site and we will order them. Simple as that :) Thanks!

PS: What is your avatar icon from? It's really cool looking.

** Keep in mind that new orders are constantly coming in, so I am actually processing more than it would appear based on numbers alone ^_^ **

Currently Working: 4/24/2010 = (12PM-2AM EST).
Orders to Process: 87 TOTAL (61 DR's [All Pre-Paid Orders have been processed] & 26 Package Forwarding Orders).

I will update GYROS as I go along and will answer Emails when I have time. Thanks guys!

Oh and please remember if you pre-pay your item as soon as you request it your order will be processed right away. For time-sensitive orders either choose this method or the Package Forwarding method if you are able to do so. All other orders will be treated as "estimate inquiries" and will be processed when we have time to do so, in the order that we receive them. Thanks! Back to work now ^_^

Hey Goomba, I package forwarded one more order to you that has two items. I notice the shipping costs for the combined weight is a bit more than shipping separately. The combined weight is just under 6 pounds. So I'm wondering, since it's priority mail, if it'd include tracking. The website says it does if you don't use the prepaid boxes, but since you're charging by-weight prices instead, I'm guessing that it SHOULD come with tracking? To "major destinations" apparently, but I'd assume Toronto fits that bill I hope  Also, it seems that with the ~6 pound package you charge your own premium of $5, which wouldn't be the case if it was split. Is this all correct? Seems like it might be cheaper for me to get YOU to do more work, which seems a bit silly. I don't want to do that, so post here or email me or PM me with a solution that works for you.

What's hilarious is that I did the math and, if you mail it as a "gift" through customs, under $60, it ends up being roughly $4 cheaper with you! Of course, shipping is substantially shorter for that $4, but I went with you anyways to basically keep my credits together on 1 site.

So sorry Gombay! Hope I didn't mess up anything with the $10 credit. There were 3 games I wanted the $10 from too, RDR being the only one on the .ca site that the promotion ALSO applied to. Now, I assume the way it works is each person can only claim the credit for a particular game ONCE, so rather than risking it or taking away some other person's opportunity who make not HAVE a credit card they can use on Amazon, I just used the package forwarding instead and got the best of all worlds (albeit a very modestly increased fee for being a good samaritan hehe), but in the process I DID find out that despite the need to pay for shipping AND goomba's fees, it still ends up cheaper! And this way I'll get all 30 credits in the .com account rather than 10 in the .ca and 20 in the .com.

So doubly sorry to you goomba as I almost took away business unfairly, I should have kept my mouth shut instead, as instead of doing the numbers first, I thought it was just common sense :(

I won a Kindle in a contest and they had Amazon.com ship me the Kindle via UPS I believe. Tax came to about $35. Tax on "winnings" kind of ticked me off, that's not supposed to happen in Canada, but I grinned and bore it because I didn't even know who to begin to complain to about that, and I'm not really the kind of person who goes to those kind of lengths in the name of consumer advocacy. But then on top of that UPS had the balls to tack on a $55 brokerage charge. Really? 5 minutes of filling out customs papers (the same they charged me $5 for on some vitamins I just ordered, and were worth nearly as much, seems totally aribitrary.) THAT ticked me off. The USPS and CanadaPost just consider it a part of their service, why can't the couriers. I was essentially now asked to pay $90 at the door - totally unexpected - if I wanted to keep the prize I had "won." I reluctantly did so anyways, a $90 Kindle was better than nothing, but I called up UPS furiously and after escalating it to the intial reps' supervisor's supervisor, they agreed to send me a check reimbursing the brokerage fee. Nothing to be done about the $35 taxes, but a even with a $35 kindle I was elated. To tell you the truth, I was considering buy one when I found out I had won one instead, so it was almost like winning a couple hundred bucks I didn't have to spend.

And just a little tip for future Canadian Kindle users. The kindle has free 3G Internet! I was disappointed to learn though that unless you live in the US, you can only access the Amazon site to purchase Kindle books as WELL as Wikipedia, but thought that it was sufficient anyways. Then I read that American users can still have unfettered Internet access even when travelling. So I figured out that if you set your Kindle profile to USA instead of Canada, you actually unlock the the full Internet browsing features! I use that loosely though as the browser isn't that great, still pretty slow, and the refresh rate of the kindle screen makes it a bit frustrating... but it's FREE 3G!

OH, also Goomba (sorry to go on and on, this part is important though):

I know it's been a little while since I really used your services (I promise, I didn't leave for another company :grouphug:, just didn't have anything worth buying that I couldn't ship directly :)), but I believe I already have 3 open orders with you within the past few days alone, and I've ordered 2 more things to your UPS already, just haven't filed the DR for them yet, for a total of 5 open orders! I'm going to prepay everything so you can just take the funds as needed from my "account" with you. I recently put in $20 but I'm wondering if there was still a couple bucks left over from before that I hadn't used.

I think at one point you were holding onto $15 of mine (rather than refunding it) and I'm sure I've at least used almost all of it. if anything, it's probably no more than a couple dollars but, including the $20 I just sent you, I'm wondering how much I have in my Goomba Account :) I'm horrible at keeping track of this, and I know you're amazing at it, as well as completely honest. So I have no problem on relying on your word for it.

PS: What would be really interesting, when you find the time, since you already clearly keep track of our credits/debts in a database or spreadsheet, would be to integrate it into the site and allow us to see the funds in our Goomba account :) I know you're swamped for the next little (or more likely LOOONG) while, and I know that such a feature, especially if making use of your personal paypal account, would not likely be anywhere near real-time but damn, I personally think it would be infinitely more useful than "Canuck Bucks". Not that I don't appreciate cash back, but your service fees are so reasonable that even with 25% cashback, I'm really getting 50 cents back on a $60 video game order :) I'm sure many "cheap ass gamers" and RFDers appreciate every single penny they can save, but I dunno, I save a lot more money each time by paying your personal account directly and to be able to track my balance on your site would be incredible!

Its from the anime film Dead Leaves.

emjaymj, wow Wall of Text attack! haha. Let me go and try to respond to your questions:

1) Priority Mail has "delivery confirmation" sort of tracking, but it won't really show you step-by-step where it is. It will occasionally show you when it has reached customs, and when it has cleared customs but in the past people have received packages and then a week later the website will still say "on route for delivery".

2) I don't mind if you want to do an order as two separate orders to avoid the 5 dollar surcharge, because it's easier for me to pack smaller items. The reason I charge the extra fee isn't to slice a bit more profit off the top, but because they genuinely take a lot more effort and because I have to physically drive them to the post office (anything over 13 ounces I can't leave in a mailbox and anything over 1 pound has to be hand delivered to a local post office by law). So if you can save money by breaking up the order, by all means :) It's not against our rules!

3) Glad to hear that it's still cheaper with me, even if it is a little slower. If it's not something you need immediately and can wait an extra week for, there are many cases where our service will still save you some money.

4) Again no problem. As long as you're not slamming me personally or my business, I don't mind you telling people alternative places to buy games for cheaper. I want you guys to save money after all :)

5) It's coll that you won a Kindle, but yeah that's absolutely awful what UPS and other couriers (FedEx and DHL I think do the same) did with brokerage fees. This is precisely why we prefer doing business with USPS.

6) Yes free 3G is a beautiful thing :)

7) I will check your remaining credit balance soon and will let you know. I'm playing catch up against this weekend and once I catch up on 100% of all the orders I want to start working on the real-time-credit-checking feature for the website. It is coming :) Also, the Canuck Bucks aren't actually cash back but more a reward system. Again, being so swamped with orders it's hard for me to get any of the new features programmed in. We will get there some day though!

------------------------------

retro.elite, awesome. I'll have to check that out :) Thanks!

Haha, no worries emjaymj. I was just asking. Haven't committed to buying it yet. Just out of curiosity though, how much did it end up costing?

I don't really "buy back" Amazon Credit. I use it to purchase other people's orders so to me it's as good as 1:1 credit for most orders. I've never been offered Gamestop Credit. Is it transferable like that? How would it work? Let me know and I'll look into it :) I'd love to have more options. Thanks!

Guys I'm off to visit my Grandma and my mom before she flies back to Florida this week, so it'll be my last time going there for a while. I'll be home around 10-11 PM and will resume processing orders. I got about 15 packages done today and will have more done tonight and tomorrow. I'll be bringing my laptop along as well to process some orders on the road. Thanks again for your support :)

Actually, never mind. I don't think the Gamestop credit is stackable. I'll just keep it. :)

Yeah that's what I thought. Not a problem Gombay. I will look into it in the future though if it's a possibility. Talk to you guys later when I get back home again :)

Oh snap! I didn't know that! I thought if you're a Canadian Kindle user, you're pretty much locked out of the basic internet browser of the Kindle because of our uber-expensive cellular-data rate. If you're not aware, Telus/Bell/Rogers doesn't believe in the word "unlimited" and charges data at a premium.

So you're saying if I set the Kindle as a US user, I can connect to the Canadian networks and browse the net via kindle for free?? Wow now I'm real tempted to get a Kindle however I really want an iPad too. Damn, can't decide, can only afford one tablet device. Decisions, decisions...

Btw, I hope everybody has signed up to Swagbucks.com via Goomba's referral. Not only can you earn roughly $10 in amazon.com gift cards each month to help discount your GFC orders, but Goomba also earns swagbucks as well.

It's a win-win situation. I've earned about ~$100 in gift cards the past few months and dumped all my codes to Goomba in my last order so its a good idea to join up but remember to register with Goomba!

how does swagbucks work?? is it US only?

blackric, thanks for the plug :) Yes I HIGHLY recommend Swagbucks. I've earned almost $75 from them just from simple web searches and I haven't done any of the other things you can do to earn even more points. I appreciate everyone who has signed up through my link though ^_^ I will be putting a link on the site once the prepayment system is finished. Thanks again.

helluvagood, it's really easy. It just gives you an account and you do Google searches the way you normally would on Swagbucks.com or their handy toolbar. You'll randomly receive points for searches and you can earn a bunch of points each day. When you hit a certain amount of points you can redeem for prizes (99% of people seem to go for the Amazon Gift Cards which you can get every 450 points). I get at least 2 or 3 a month with even casual searching :) And as you may know, you can send the Amazon codes to me and use them to buy anything you want through GFC. It's a Win/Win situation all around!

** Keep in mind that new orders are constantly coming in, so I am actually processing more than it would appear based on numbers alone ^_^ **

Currently Working: 4/24/2010 = (12PM-2AM EST).
Orders to Process: 80 TOTAL (59 DR's [All Pre-Paid Orders have been processed] & 21 Package Forwarding Orders).

Hi JJ,

Just sent you an email regarding payment on my order (SSF4 + bonus). I hope I did it correctly. So just to verify this is the procedure now.

1. Create a DR
2. Send pre-payment using amazon.com GC and paypal instead of the website.

Thanks
-Anthony

You did everything perfectly as far as I can tell shadow_nine. I also really appreciate the little bonus :) That's really kind of you! I've ordered your game and will ship it out to you as soon as I receive it. Hope you like it!
So you're saying if I set the Kindle as a US user, I can connect to the Canadian networks and browse the net via kindle for free??
Yes, though I imagine browsing the net with an iPad is far superior (though personally I think anything it can do, SOMETHING can do better lol). The Kindle browsing is something that's useful maybe on the rare occasion when you want to briefly check a simple site and don't have another option immediately available, but it would be a real headache trying to surf the net casually with the thing.

Amazon foots the bill for roaming charges, and as I browse the web, I can indeed see that Rogers injects little "roaming" ads in the pages advertising for some alternative plan that I guess Rogers offers roaming users. It does present a bit of an ethical issue, as Rogers likes to charge insane prices for even local browsing (or really ANYTHING they offer, for that matter), so taking advantage of the loophole probably costs Amazon a fair bit. I'm mostly okay with it anyways because

 1. I'm tired of Canadians always getting the shaft on neat services. The PS3 will be offering streaming HD movies to the US soon with countries like the UK, Spain, and I think even GREECE to follow, but once again I totally miss out on a service I'd be able to get just 2 hours away not for infrastructural reasons, but rather because of greed (often because the providers involved, ie Telecoms/Movie distributors) will not legally allow it because the just love gouging us.
 2. It's actually a rather frustrating experience (though I've pretty much always found mobile browsing to be to some degree), so other than the first-day honemyoon after I discovered this ability, my use of it is extremely rare. I even usually keep the wi-fi off just to extend the battery life.
Awesome, I can't wait for a feature like that :)
Haha, no worries emjaymj. I was just asking. Haven't committed to buying it yet. Just out of curiosity though, how much did it end up costing?
Well, it's listed for 56.99, +3 for Goomba's shipping, +2 for his fee. So 61.99USD. I'm going to assume he ships it as a gift to let you avoid taxes, which he's generally nice enough to do :)

I haven't paid for it just yet (waiting to see my account balance with Goomba!), but the Canadian dollar is actually above parity today, so I'm going to leave a little wiggle room for it to drop down a bit back to parity, which is a bit more conservative but also makes it more convenient.

So by the standard 2.5% commission that banks/credit cards usually charge, the full price on Amazon.com, in Canadian dollars would come out to $63.54.

On Amazon.ca, where it's listed at 59.99, I'm going to use what our taxes (Ontario, 5% GST + 8% PST) would have been. Assuming free shipping, it actually comes out to $67.78.

So a savings of 4 dollars. If you do like I did, and include it in a larger order you can save a bit more money through combined shipping and lower fees on subsequent orders, but it won't be that much more. It comes down to whether or not you think $4 is worth the extra wait for the game, and also as a bit of a factor, whether you want the $10USD credit for Amazon.com or the $10CAD credit for Amazon.ca - I'm assuming they're stackable, and I ordered 2 other games that had the $10 promotion only on the Amazon.com, so I figured having them all for the same site would be better.

Ack! Goomba!

I'm really sorry, I must be such a pest of a customer but I wasn't thinking. Since I made a packageforwarding request where I bought 3 $60 games off Amazon and intended for you to just ship them all at the same time, I thought I'd save a few bucks and you a bit of work.

But if I understand the process correctly, the $180 value means you'll be charging an extra $5, right? This is actually a different bunch of items than my other order I asked about which went over 5 pounds btw :)

At first I intended to order Red Dead Redemption from the .ca site and the only the other 2 from you, which is probably why I didn't think about it. 2 PS3 games in one order, and 1 PS3 game in a second order, would not just make things cheaper for me, it should by all rights make things easier for you.

And not just that, but 2 of the games come out a week earlier than the 3rd game. I was actually going to wait an extra week for those first 2 games but now I'm having a hard time seeing any benefit in doing so :whistle2:# So would it be possible to just let me cancel that order and create 2 new ones instead? I'm not such a cheapskate that a few extra bucks would make me care so much about it, but hey, if paying LESS can get me Red Dead Redemption AND Split / Second a whole week earlier, I'd really much rather do it that way.

Order # to cancel is 125433010 ... also, let me know the available credit I have with you ASAP (should be like $20 and perhaps some money from before.) I have a bunch of items already ordered (basically 6 or 7 ORDERS in total for you, some placed, more pending) and I like to keep my financial information orderly as quickly as possible so I don't end up spending too much heh (having ADD diagnosed in adulthood doesn't help.) I'm the kind of guy that doesn't pay off my credit card at the end of the month but instead pays every charge off separately pretty much as soon as it's charged!

Thanks again Goomba, and I apologize for being such a high maintenance customer :(

Don't worry emjaymj, I can fix it for you :) It's not a big problem. I'm not that crazy that I'm going to punish you for an honest mistake. Don't worry about it. When the games get here we can figure it out ^_^ Oh and thanks for taking the time to explain the difference in price from ordering through us and through Amazon.ca... that's really cool. I may have to hire you some day lol.

Well, I feel like I should let you (and everyone else) know that there is a good deal on gamestop.com right now. They matched the $10 credit for RDR and there is also a coupon that can be used to get 25% off any order above $100.00 (or 15% off $50 or more). So, if you're looking to get more than one game it is a great deal. I pre-ordered Red Dead Redemption and Super Street Fighter IV (threw in a .99 cent game to get it over $100.00) and used the coupon (RDR - $44.99, SSFIV - $29.99). Total with shipping (free) came to $80.26, or $70.26 if you count the $10 credit. Just have to add shipping and fees through Goomba, but it is still a pretty sweet deal. Coupon expires on Apr. 30 so do it soon!!

Nice... I'll have to find another game to throw in (probably prince of persia or Blur preorder) but the other two i've currently preordered from amazon also have a $10 credit which gamestop has chosen not to match.

I guess the only question then, since you're nice enough to share it with everyone, is: where's the coupon code

Haha, sorry forgot to put it. It's "25OFF".

Hey Goomba. Appreciate your work here, but haven't had the opportunity to enjoy your services. I'm in the midst of setting up my first Paypal account, so I beg of you to put up with my noobishness.

I was wondering just how much shipping would be for something of this size and whether it would be worth all the trouble:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002I7A82S/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

Even if they are RB1 instruments, they're the cheapest I'm going to find any for a long time, unless the shipping is very pricey on such a large item.
