GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

I just pre-ordered Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Amazon to get the $20 gift card (I will probably use it towards Metroid Other M). Anyways, I did the Package Forwarding so Goomba if there is any issues or need to know more information then please contact me.

This is my first time using the service but I think I did everything right.

Thanks again for your service. Its nice to get a $20 gift card instead of here (Canada) with Best Buys useless $5 gift card.

gsrce, I do have an Edge card (just renewed it as of last week for another year).

PuppetDoctor, welcome to GFC! I think you did everything correctly :) Thanks for everything! Glad you were able to take advantage of the Amazon deal!

Yes that's correct. It's the FULL Zip Code (Zip+4 as they call it) but only the first 5 are required with 99% of websites/stores so feel free to leave them off unless they specifically require it :)

how do I go about getting in on FFXIII deal at Kmart, as its back in stock.

forget it...i'd rather wait for a deal on UFC and I think I figured out how to use your system

Another question...I just ordered 2 games from Kmart (2 seperate transactions), so do I have to fill out the DR classic form twice?

Edit: Nevermind, I fail at reading. I also messed up on one of my DRs (The Final Fantasy XIII one) and didn't state that it was a package forwarding. Is that okay or =[

LOL I'll figure it out. Just send another DR with it correct, then tell me the numbers of the ones you want to delete and I shall do so ^_^ And yes you can put multiple orders onto one DR. That's fine. Thanks!

GYROS haven't been updated for roughly two days and won't honestly be totally updated until Wednesday. Sorry guys, it has to do with me running around like a crazy man to ship out as many items before my wife gets back (Monday) and because I'll be out of town until Tuesday. I will do my best to get as many of the GYROS updated in real time. Do you think I should temporarily take down GYROS to alleviate people's worries? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I am working until 10PM or so tonight and will do my best to get as many GYROS updates done as possible :) Thanks guys. Xover, I'll check on your orders when I get home. Thanks!

I'm home now (12:45 AM) and will be up until 2:30 AM or so processing packages. Tomorrow I'm leaving for NYC to pick up my wife and we'll be staying overnight. We should be back late Tuesday night and then things will resume. I'll do my best to keep up with all new orders. We should be getting a ton of packages in this week.

PLEASE if I have invoiced you please send the payment for shipping so I can start getting these out :) Especially those of you who have Package Forwarding (PF) orders. Thanks guys!

Hey Goomba, realistically, could you ship me a 126 lb item (drum equipment). I'm planning to get my dream drumset by the time Christmas rolls around, and it may be like another grand cheaper than in Canada even if the shipping is $300.

P.S.: I got some GC's coming for the zombie stuff, wanna tell me how many I need to send you when you has the time?

Realistically, probably not Rogan....unless it would be possible to ship it to you in separate packages or if you were willing to have it shipped with UPS (which may have brokerage fees). Because as far as I know I can't ship items more than 45 pounds with USPS. If you lived in Ontario I could likely drive it to you for less than it'd cost to ship, but where you live is a bit far to drive ^_^ I'm sure we could figure out something though if you really wanted to in terms of shipping.

Hee hee .. hey, goomba, do you have any vacations coming up? You could consider a nice drive / vacation to BC and visit Rogan ;)

Apparently the nutty brokerage fee charges disappear when you step beyond the cheapest UPS shipping option. My brother recently ordered like 50+ pounds of locksmithing tools which shipped UPS, and they arrived without drastic fees. So sending large packages may be viable, or at least worth looking into.

** IMPORTANT GFC UPDATE **

Guys, I just got word from my wife in South Korea that her flight to the USA has been delayed 24 hours. I'm still going to NYC tonight, because I've already paid for the hotel and it's non-refundable (don't want to spend $200+ on a hotel in New York and not go). I was originally not going to bring my laptop, but now I'll have no choice. So while I will not be packing or shipping items out Monday-Tuesday, I will be invoicing as many DR's as I can during the down time in New York. I will keep in touch.

Wish me luck, I'm going to be so tired Wednesday morning (get home at 3AM get up at 7AM...not fun =p

darn! guess Ill have to wait for my tales of vesperia for a bit longer. but keep up the good work:lol:

Ha, Ragnar is right. I've done it before. If you ship UPS with express expedite, you waver all brokerage fees. But, Im totally not against driving up here for vacation though! We got... lots of rain to see!

Hey, Goomb, just a quick thing... Did you d/c my FTP account? I was still using it (I kept making really stupid errors in the .iso file, so I had to keep re-submitting it). Hopefully, my .7z file is still there because that thing is atrocious to upload. Which, by the way, is for my work if you were curious :p

jeffx, I'm waiting until I actually have the physical copies in my hand. I will let you know when I get them in the mail :) Thanks.[/QUOTE]

Cool thanks for locking one down for me. Really appreciated.

Saying hi to all you guys from the Big Apple :) I made it safely to NYC and just ate dinner in a little Thai restaurant down the street from my hotel. Thanks again for your support guys :) I'm going to take this time to relax a little, but I'm also working on some code for the new GFC improvements. Wish me luck!

Oh and for those of you with ESPN2, the tournament I dealt in is on TV now (I just saw myself haha). Pretty awesome!

I will be on ESPN2 again soon as I dealt this final 2 players until one person at the table won. I know the outcome but I won't ruin it for you if you don't know ^_^ So weird seeing myself on International TV. Too bad I didn't get paid extra and the money I did get I lost in that envelope incident lol. Oh well :) At least I got some cool memories from it all.

Hey Goomba (or anyone else who can answer this for me)

I haven't been keeping up with this thread or GFC lately, but has the service rate gone up? I tried to get a direct request and it quote me a $5 service charge instead of the usual $2. Just wondering.

Thanks.

shipping one game costs $3. so plus the service fee its $5 total.

Actually, believe Goomba said the additional $3 should be Paypal's service charge for credit card payments. You can skip the additional $3 if you pay with other methods such as Amazon gift card. Double check with Goomba though, I could be wrong.

Didn't Goomba bump up the service charge for excessive weight/price items as well? $2 to make him carry 50 pounds wasn't reasonable ^^

Just FYI, I didn't confuse the shipping and service fees.

The invoice says $5 service fee and $3 shipping fee, $8 total. It's only for 1 game so I doubt weight is an issue.

If Goomba raised his prices, then so be it. Hell, I think for all the work he does he SHOULD charge more. But I'm just curious if this is a price increase or if there was an error in the estimate I got.

Thanks.

Goomba, just wondering if you read my message on the previous page.

Nevermind, I see that you fixed it. Thanks and awesome as always! Im so tippin you for this when I get some extra cash my way :p

I just submitted an order Goomba :) also when you get back please read my PM and get back to me when you can thanks!

EDIT: I resubmitted the order with a new coupon code, please cancel my first one and order using 2nd order form and put outstanding from what I paid on my account, thanks a lot Goomba :D

MOTHERfuckER!!! I had a bunch of gift cards I never redeemed because I never thought they would be that much of an asshole.

Hey Goomb, could I get PM'd the address of your house/your grandma's house so I can redeem amazon.com cards? (They just go to the account anyway, so it doesn't really matter WHAT address I use since they ain't mailed... But I figure they may get suspicious with multiple accounts at one household if everyone asks)

You could probably just go to that address/name generator thing and randomly put an US address. Not sure if they'll be checking IP to match country though, possible to get deactivation from it but I dunno.

Jachel: It depends on the item. You can save anywhere from a couple dollars to a couple hundred on a single item. The nice thing? Canada usually never has good sales on games (until recently with the random $40 Walmart games)

Guys I'm back from NYC at last :) It was a long, arduous multi-day journey but I have returned to my loving state of Connecticut, along with my tired-from-travelling wife ^_^ I will be taking tomorrow off to devote the entire day to GFC'ing so no worries. I shall soon be catching up on the massive backlog of orders/newly placed DR's and PF requests. We shall overcome =)

Jachel, yes for the most part you can save on these sorts of things when you play your cards right. Most of my customers don't pay any taxes or anything of the sort. You're welcome to try us out :) The "Direct Request" service on our site will give you a very accurate estimate of all costs and your total in real time. Thanks!

Welcome back :)
Will you be going through a few paid DR's tonight? I got one submitted that will end 11am CST tomorrow I believe. Thanks!

Myv, I will be processing all of the ones that were paid for already. If you paid for it, then yes :) If not, then I will do my best to get to it ASAP. Thanks!

Yo Goomb, just a heads up, I got cash here waiting for you on my stuff. I just don't know how much you want from me (since my credit is all over the freaking place ha ha).
