GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.


Service Charges (GFC Premium):

$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items.This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

Well I had some extra Amazon.com gift cards from swagbucks so it helped offset the cost and at the time watches weren't available on the .ca site yet.

Regardless, overall it was still cheaper to go with .com, I cant' fanthom why things like watches have such a big price difference here.

Agreed, the gshock is very sturdy. I leave mine next to my bedroom window each night so that it syncs and gets a charge in the morning. Loving it so far, it's become my weekday watch while my heavier Citizen I wear on weekends.

Now I'm tempted to get a Seiko Orange Monster, if only our dollar was back up at par :(

What I meant was, Amazon.com ships that one to Canada. (Shipping is $7ish plus the import fee deposit)

Ah, I get what you were saying, I forgot to mention I have a PayPal balance and wanted to use that to pay off the watch. Since amazon.com doesn't take PayPal, I had Goomba order it for me since he was already holding my other orders.

edit: but I totally see how ordering it directly could be cheaper than with GFC so you're right
 
Guys I just got home from an 11 hour day at work (they had me stay afterward for special on-the-job training). Good news too: In about 2-3 weeks I'm getting promoted to part time at the casino :) This means I'll actually be scheduled to deal cash games. The bad news is I'll be on grave shift which is slower and a little less steady, but the good news is I'll be part time so I'll actually get hours ^_^ This also means I can come home from work and ship out items more regularly since I'll get home around 10AM most days. More on this soon once I learn my schedule better, as I don't yet have it.

Now that it's nearly 10PM, I'm going to start going through your new Emails/PMs and get out some more packages. Tomorrow I work at the University job till 6PM but the rest of the day will be devoted to GFC. Time to get crackin'!

The $16 was supposed to be in USD o_O I didn't send it, and I sold it in the american CAG trading place.

I'll request them to re-send it in USD. If it gets sent in USD, please refund the CAD. Sorry, I didn't realize "Send $16 to here" would be such a pain until I clicked submit on what I typed >.<

If they don't, Ill take the conversion fee charge. But, since I don't plan on using the $16 anytime immediately soon, you can keep it as an annoying CAD balance until it is converted.
 
RoganSarine, it's okay things happen. First of all they only sent $15 CAD and there was a fee for the transaction (not sent as gift?) and yeah with the fee you're looking at around $3.00 or so USD, so if you can ask them to resend as USD I'd be more than happy to refund the CAD. Thanks!

Hey guys! Thanks for the birthday wishes :) I had an unexpected Internet outage on my birthday today but things are working again ^_^ I'm going to spend a couple hours packing GFC items now that I've had my (green tea) ice cream :) GFC will be re-opening its doors in only two more days (DR's).

Also, I will have a notice saying "If you order now it will take X amount of days to process your order" before you order, just so you have an idea. Eventually I'll try to get the number down to 0-1 days :) thanks guys!

Hey there guys, just to let you know where we stand: Today was mostly a cleaning up day for me. Literally. I cleaned up a lot of my office, got rid of excess receipts/mail/cardboard and packing supplies and also re-installed a fresh XP image on my desktop (which I haven't used in about 4 months since I've been exclusively using my laptop). I also cleaned up the GYROS page to send all the GREEN/Completed orders to the archive page, so now it looks a lot cleaner.

I'm working 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM tomorrow but will spend most of the day after that shipping out GFC orders and such. I will re-open the DR page on the 18th and will add newer PF orders to the GYROS list for completionists :) We're making serious headway.

In personal news, I did have a nice birthday so thanks a bunch. My bankruptcy proceedings are working out well too so far as I have about 50% of the paperwork finished and more than half of the money to pay the lawyers fees and filing costs. Thanks for your support guys :) We'll finish June with a bang and work towards the future July on forward. Thanks again and see you all soon!

Just wanted to let you know that I canceled my pre-order on Amazon for Metroid Other M. I got it for $49.99 plus tax at Futureshop during the E3 promo. I don't know the order number but I did include my CAG name in the order so you should be able to find it.

I will be re-opening the Direct Request service around 11:00 PM tonight guys. Thanks so much for your patience in our update period and during our transitions and such. We're moving ahead in our personal lives and nearly ready to file, so that'll be a big relief. We're still about a month or so before we'll be totally on our feet, but having the DR service back should help a little financially anyhow :)

I will NOT be restoring the Package Forwarding (PF) service initially though, as those were the orders that really slowed things down, but if you still are interested in ordering items yourself and don't have our address let me know. We'll work something out with you. Thanks again guys!

Hey guys! It's official, our Direct Request Service is open again for business. Keep in mind, right now you must pre-pay your order through the website (or arrange to send it to me directly as many of you have done in the past) in order for your order to be processed. If you submit a form and don't pay then the order will be treated as an Estimate only. I'll be adding a button on there that says "estimate only" for checkout so that it won't actually submit it to me.

Also, you may notice the DR Classic page and the Package Forwarding are gone. There's a very good reason for this. PF will still be available to those of you who have previously ordered, but newer customers will be encouraged to use the DR system instead. If you absolutely must order with the PF option and don't have my shipping address just let me know. We will be re-opening PF orders somewhere around the middle of July. It's more important to me that we stay on track with new orders.

Which leads me to...."The Great Purge".

The Great Purge is what I'm calling the flushing of all extraneous and un-processed orders in the last couple of months. I received many DR's without payment (many of which were meant to be estimates I assume) and they add up quickly. If your items/orders do NOT show on the current
GYROS and are not PF orders, please let me know immediately so I can add them in. It's possible some legitimate orders were washed away in the great purge (I have all the orders filed away, but they're not active in the system). All PF's that don't show up will be added this week as I update GYROS.

Another new change is that I will be announcing approximate delay times on the
Direct Request Service (DR) and GYROS pages. This will let you know approximately how long it'll take to process your order BEFORE you place it. So if you don't want to wait X amount of days, you'll have the option to wait until the system is less busy. I estimate that I can process/ship about 10 items a day, so if I have 100 orders then it will say "Your order will be processed in approximately 10 days total", etc.

More on this to come. I'll be shipping out a bunch of packages this weekend and will continue to make minor changes in the background. Once all changes are caught up for the DR system, I'll tweak and relaunch the PF orders. Thanks again for your patience guys, it's good to be back!

The first part of the order number (example: #1234) is the order it was received more or less and the second order number is the unique randomly generated one from the DR system. OMG u shipped 2 the wrong address didnt u use the one I sent via PM.Sighhh hopefully I can ask the people who used to live there if I could get the game back.Is there I can go to the Cana Post and tell them to intercept the order?

You would have to put through for mail forwarding for a specific period of time to have this done. This would forward anything in your name to your old address to your new one.

I've had this service set up for a year now since I moved, and am planning on extending it, as it's great for taking advantage of "one per household" deals, and catching up on changing address' with companies who still have my old address on file.

Glad your DR service is back online. Did you increase your service charge for DRs by any chance?

Reason I'm wondering: I went to place an order (80545254) and it gives me a total of $29 (item: $20.50, service charge: $2.00 and estimate shipping $6.50). When I click to submit and pay it chances to a total of $30.50 (item: $20.50, service charge: $3.50 and estimate shipping $6.50).

Anyways, please let me know how much I need to pay you for this order... It's an amazon one so I'm going to pay a portion with amazon.com GCs, but I need to know how much to paypal you to cover the rest.

K Goomba, if you remember that really urgent DR I tried to do about a week ago, I placed the order.

Once again, it only gives the credit card option ($11 extra in this case!), plus it doesn't take into account the service fee credit I have with you ($8 deduction from my balance in this case, not 19 as totalled). So I went as far as I could in the order without doing the automatic payment, and sent the correct payment to your personal account like always.

I made a goof on my first try though, and despite not even confirming the order (I believe it even suggests going back to make changes if needed!), apparently it still went through, as I got a confirmation email. So please delete order #1709235254 - the CORRECT order is #238666973

Please refer to the email I sent you on June 13th at about 8:33pm EST for the detailed instructions. As you know, it's a complicated order and I couldn't explain it all in the DR. I did make one change to that email as you might have noticed. Instead of a single WES035P cartridge 3-pack (the $7.65 item), I'd like 4 of these 3-packs (ie 12 in total, changed monthly so a year's worth). I've reflected this slight increase in total price in the formal DR, and I've already sent you the payment via paypal.

As you also know, this is a really important and urgent deal for me that I can't afford to miss. You'd have my undying gratitude if you could expedite just placing the order for me. Once you place the order on the site, it's a pretty sure thing, so forwarding to me once you get it isn't nearly as urgent. I just need to make sure I get the discount. So I don't mind waiting a bit longer as long as it's placed quickly, and if you could expedite the order process itself I will love you forever, even bear your children (and yes, I'm a guy, but it's so important to me to get this done quick that I'll find a way :) If Ah-nuld can do it with the help of Danny DeVito, I'm sure it can't be too difficult...)

Speaking of waiting a bit, according to the GYROS page, it says you're still waiting on the wallet/coin purse shipments to arrive, but they arrived at your UPS box on May 7th and 10 (~a month and a half ago!), respectively, according to tracking. And I'm pretty sure you told me yourself that you received my wine chillers, but that's been almost a month itself having arrived at UPS on May 22nd. I really try not to bug you too much, but I hope you can understand why I'm feeling a bit anxious about it, especially since it feels like almost every order has been shipped or is "shipping", even most of the much later ones :). So, any help you can give me with some sort of update regarding those items will earn you an unlimited supply of online, cross-border man-love... or my appreciation. Whichever you prefer. :lol:
