GFC is Back in Business! Worldwide Package Forwarding & Item Ordering Services ^_^.

1) Direct Request (DR) Services - The service that started it all, our Direct Request (DR) Service allows you to buy just about anything you want from the USA and have us order it and ship it directly to you. This is perfect for those of you who are unable to buy from USA merchants that will not ship to Canada directly or who do not accept Canadian/International credit cards. We charge $2.00 per item ordered plus shipping. Additional fees apply for items weighing more than 5 pounds shipped or more than $150 USD in value. Our online form will calculate everything for you automatically and there's no obligation to buy anything until you check out with Paypal. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about our services.

2) Package Forwarding (PF) Services, Address & Rates - [PREMIUM SERVICE] If you want to order the items yourself, you can! You can order from any website that ships to the USA. Ship the items to our secure UPS mail box and we will repackage them and ship them to you in Canada (or any other country for that matter). Typical fees apply for this service as usual and you pay only $1.00 per package received at our mail location. Quick, easy and GREAT for limited-time sales when the Direct Request option may not be quick enough. Please note we cannot ship: meat, cigarettes or other nicotine items (including electronic cigarettes and their accessories), alcohol, weapons or gun accessories (including paintball/airsoft), pornographic materials, toxic chemicals (including several cleaning liquids), fertilizer or any items that are illegal to ship internationally. Also, any items containing NI-CD or LI-Ion Batteries can no longer be shipped via USPS (Laptops, cell phones, handheld game systems, etc.) and must be shipped via UPS instead. If you have questions about a particular item, please contact us first before ordering.  You will receive an Email invoice with PDF attachment explaining line-by-line details of all charges and full payment options. GFC PF Service Requires Premium Membership which costs $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year (discount of two free months) and is available in our GFC Store. Full details on website.

3) GYROS Updates - After you have ordered your items, filled out the forms and notified us of your order we will add your items to our GYROS page (generally within a week or less). Once your items have been received, we will invoice you for the shipping costs + our service charge. After receiving your payment, your items will be shipped out to you in a timely manner and you will receive an Email with all relevant shipping information ^_^. If you have any questions feel free to Email us at [email protected] .

Service Charges (Free Members):

GFC Charges $2.00 per item forwarded for standard or "Free" Members. Please note that an item in this case refers to each item within the packages you ship to us. So if you were to order say 2 DVD Movies, an Umbrella and a Towel, this would count as 4 items total. Items that are sold in "Lots" such as multiple baseball cards will be counted as one item, subject to our discretion. Also, UPS Charges me to pick up the packages, so there will be an additional charge of $1.00 per package received. I will add into the invoice for you when I get your iitems in.

For larger orders, an extra $5.00 USD surcharge is added for each 5 pounds your package weighs OR per $150 in value of their total contents (example: a 5 pound package would cost an additional $5.00 USD, a 10 pound package would cost an additional $10.00 USD OR a $150 item (or group of items totaling $150 or more) would have an additional $5.00 USD charged, a $300 group of items would have an additional $10.00 USD charged). Please note that this will be either a weight or cost surcharge and not both, but the greater of the two will be what is charged. An item weighing 14 pounds will still only be $10 added as it didn't yet reach the 15 pound mark. This will be shown on your invoice and will be clearly explained. In the near future, this service charge will be automatically calculated for package forwarding items the way it is currently automatically calculated on our Direct Request 2.0 system.

So Again the things to remember:

1) Ship to the address above
2) Ship all packages in my name (James Parks) and if you want to include your information as a “Gift Message” on the order, you certainly can do that. This is required though to be in my name as the UPS store will only sign for packages in my name and will refuse all others.
3) You MUST fill out the Direct Request (DR) form on the link above to let me know what’s coming
4) Once I receive your DR submission and all your items, I will invoice you for the shipping cost plus service fees.

Estimated Shipping Costs:

The following are shipping estimates for standards weights. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much it will cost to ship your item to Canada. If you live in another country, feel free to inquire by contacting us directly.

For all items from 0 - 4 pounds we typically use USPS First Class Mail:

$00.00 = 0 Pounds / Digital Items
$09.00 = 6 ounces
$09.00 = 7 ounces
$09.50 = 12 ounces
$11.00 = 1 Pound
$16.50 = 2 Pounds
$22.00 = 3 Pounds
$27.50 = 4 Pounds

For all items from 5 pounds and up we typically use USPS Priority Mail:

$38.00 = 5 Pounds
$40.00 = 6 Pounds
$42.50 = 7 Pounds
$45.00 = 8 Pounds
$47.50 = 9 Pounds
$49.50 = 10 Pounds
$52.00 = 11 Pounds
$54.50 = 12 Pounds
$57.50 = 13 Pounds
$55.00 = 14 Pounds
$62.50 = 15 Pounds
$60.00 = 16 Pounds
$63.00 = 17 Pounds
$70.00 = 18 Pounds
$72.50 = 19 Pounds
$75.00 = 20 Pounds
$77.50 = 21 Pounds
$80.00 = 22 Pounds
$83.00 = 23 Pounds
$85.50 = 24 Pounds
$88.00 = 25 Pounds

For any items over 25 pounds, we'll have to manually invoice you.

On Hold & Unclaimed Merchandise:

GFC allows you to send items to our secure UPS Package Forwarding address (listed above). After you order your items it is your responsibility to properly fill out our Package Forwarding (PF) Form on our website located here: http://www.gamesforcanada.com/package-forwarding.php . Once you do this, we will be notified of the items you have ordered and you will pre-pay the shipping/service charges up front for us to process and re-ship them to you.

The first 30 days are free to hold all Package Forwarding items. This is plenty of time for you to successfully order from the various stores that you want and submit our PF form to notify us. This also allows for adequate time for you to request us to combine items into a single package.

After 30 days, there will be a $5.00 USD charge per ITEM per week (flat rate fee) until the payment has been paid in full. Since you are pre-paying for the item costs, you will be responsible for both shipping to your country, our GFC Service Charges and any processing fees associated with the transaction.

After 90 days, GFC will not be responsible for unclaimed or missing merchandise sent to us at our Package Forwarding address. We suggest that you fully insure all orders sent to our address in case of loss or damage as we will not be responsible for missing or damaged goods.

emjaymj, in the case of items that are ambiguous I understand where you're coming from...but remember it's always advised to over-estimate shipping weights. If you are over-estimating I will refund you the difference as a credit to your account or a Paypal refund. If you pay for 10 pounds and it's only 4 pounds, I'll refund you. So yeah, it's still warranted I think. I didn't delay your item by the way :) I wasn't referring to orders such as yours since you have credits and things with me anyhow to cover shipping and service charges. I'm talking about newer customers that will order say 6 new release games and put shipping as 7 ounces total. Just totally impossible that 6 games shipped would weigh the average weight of one game. Or people who order hardcover book sets and put 1 pound. A single hardcover book weighs more than a pound, so a set of 6 ... no way it weighs one pound. Just these kinds of orders tend to slow down the chain of shipping, so I have to either require manual invoicing (which we used to do, which takes a LONG time) or we have to slightly delay them as they are more work. Makes sense to me, I hope it doesn't seem too unfair. I'm not out to punish anyone :) just want to make the process faster for those who are good at ordering and know what their items weigh, etc.

Again, I'll be happy to estimate shipping costs for ANY item. I may not be correct, but chances are I've shipped something similar as a reference :) If you ask me ahead of time and I'm wrong I will still manually invoice the difference but won't hold it against you. Hope that makes sense ^_^. Thanks.

emjaymj
, no worries...I manually put the Emails I want my wife to process in a special folder =) No need for secret sex Emails or anything even borderline offensive ^_^.

ironchefff, yes I should be receiving it tomorrow (they shipped it today with overnight shipping to my UPS address). I will let you know. If it's not here tomorrow then I should have it early next week when I do my next UPS pickup. I had to wait for them to refund me and then resend it as they're picky about addresses, but we should be all set now =) I will keep you posted via GYROS updates. Thanks!

Lucas252, all set. I have you down for Fable III now and I cancelled your original order manually. I've updated on GYROS. Thanks!

evantrees, yes emjaymj is correct. If you want lower fees you can pay via Amazon.com Gift Card (up to $200 USD a month) :) Thanks.

WillGabriel, nobody else has asked me about this sale yet so yes I'd be willing to help you. Two things to note though: TRU charges 6% Sales tax AND shipping (usually) which tends to run about $3.00 per game for shipping. Kills the deal for some people but may be worth it for you if you're ordering 4 games. If you're ordering 2, maybe not. Also, the Pokemon games are heavier than most as they include Pokewalkers, double packaging, etc. If you're still interested let me know and we can try to work it out for you via manual invoice =).

RoganSarine, thanks buddy. I'll be on the lookout for that.

Okay, thanks for the update Goomba! I think I may get addicted and start ordering a lot more stuff. :p

Yeah, I wasn't implying that you had done that with mine and didn't think so... you were pretty clear this is a new policy :) Seems fair enough...

hey goomba,

What's going on with:

#1319 / 1294119398 - Koss PortaPro Headphones with Case

If it has arrived and you've sent an invoice, I haven't received anything. :(

Hey everyone, I know most of you probably don't know me, but just a little note as I have seen a lot of concern about contact times and such over the past couple of weeks.
I'll vouch for Goomba 110% as will easily dozens, if not hundreds of other people here.

I personally know that he has a lot going on at the moment, if you've read the posts he has made, you know his working life is full up and his financial situation is still on the mend, but he has even more unspoken stuff going on at the moment.

It may not mean much, but I just want to try to reassure you that he is getting the system working a little better day-by-day and is doing his best to get back to you in a timely manner. So, for those of you that are especially new to his system, please know that this is probably the slowest turn time you will ever see from him and it will most certainly be a thing of beauty once he gets a little more oil in the gears! ;)

EDIT:
I'm looking into ways for you to ask questions on the site BEFORE submitting them to further alleviate underestimated shipping.

Goomba, concerning this, I may have a solution for you from my site. I have PMd you some info. ;)

** GFC Major Updates **

Okay guys, I promised I'd give you an explanation for some of the slowdown in the last two weeks and I'm happy to say it's almost over. There's actually a lot going on with my personal life that has nothing to do with GFC but at the same time has caused a slight slowdown in the processing of a few items and Emails. The good news is after this week it'll be behind me. Here are the newest items of news from the Goomba Household:

1) We are half way done with bankruptcy proceedings. It may sound stupid but one of the reasons we can't do a lot of eBaying and selling of items right now is that we are going through the bankruptcy process which means there are limits to what we can and can't do. This should be over with soon as we've filed our documents and paid our lawyers, so now it's more of a waiting game than anything. This doesn't affect the GFC services though, but it does take a lot of my personal time having to drive across the state and file paperwork and such.

2) I now work night shift at my casino job. For over a year I've been working as an "on call" dealer at the casino but now I've been promoted to Part time. This means I work more hours which is great, but at the same time adjusting to the grave shift took me a little time (two weeks to be exact). Having to sleep extra hours to adjust and not being home during the day to make the post office had a slight delay on a few packages as well and as I couldn't bring my laptop to the casino I was a bit behind on a few Emails as well. I apologize for this, but the good news is I have adjusted to the sleep schedule now and will be bringing a netbook of sorts to work to do Emails on breaks. Problem solved :).

3) I am moving. After a lot of searching for an apartment with adequate space to contain all the hundreds of packages I receive from GFC orders, my wife and I have found a new place that includes heat and a full basement. We aren't moving until mid September or so, but the last couple of weeks we've been out of the house/office looking at places and meeting with realtors. It took a ton of time but it was worth it considering the new place will be a lot better for us.

4) Okay this is the big one....the number one reason I haven't been home much lately: My wife and I are having our first child! We just found out a couple of weeks ago, but it's been a major change for us. I've been going to doctors with her almost every one of my days off, meeting with health specialists, and it's been very busy indeed. Not to mention all of my family members wanting to bring us to dinners and have us over their house to celebrate. Definitely exciting, but also very time consuming :) Our baby won't be born until February-ish but there's a lot more to be done. Luckily now we just have to sit back and take it easy and do all we can to prepare.

So that's it for now. Hopefully this sheds a little bit of light on what's been going on. I haven't intentionally been slow to respond to Emails or update the GYROS, but there has been a TON of things going on behind the scenes. The good news is though that we're almost through all this craziness and things are settling down day by day.

Also, just so you know I never have stopped processing packages or putting in orders. I've still been ordering items as soon as I receive payment and shipping them ASAP when they come in. A few have been delayed due to inadequate shipping or combined shipping (or missing items in a few cases) but these are mostly out of my control. I'm spending almost the entire weekend to clean things up further and I'll do my best to update GYROS at least once a day.

I appreciate your patience guys :) I know I say that a lot but I do. We have almost 1000 unique customers now (actually more if you count our online store as well) and there's a lot to process but our system works and we're doing our best to improve it as much as possible. I will be spending the next 2-3 hours responding to Emails so I hope that alleviates some of your frustrations. Thanks again for your support. We'll do everything we can to keep you happy with our services.

Sincerely,
JJ Parks ^_^
GFC

Thank you thank you! I feel awful to be away from the office these last two weeks but I assure you it's not for laziness on my part :) there's a lot of exciting things going on but I know it doesn't reflect well on me to have people writing Emails and not getting responses.

I've been training LanLan (my wife) to respond to Emails and she's doing her best but it's taken her a lot of time to learn the current GFC system and of course with all the baby stuff it hasn't been her top priority. I'll be bringing my little laptop to work though and hope to have all Emails responded to within the next 48 hours (there are 40 Emails to write and counting). I will keep you all posted. Thanks guys!

Also, tonight I'll be working at the casino so I'm going to sleep from 5:30 PM - 1:00 AM. Keep this in mind as I won't be writing Emails while I'm asleep obviously :) I'm going to try and bring my computer with me to work (not sure they'll appreciate it at the casino but I'm going to do my best) and hopefully it'll fit into the small lockers they have available there.

My next UPS Store Pickup will be on this upcoming Tuesday so it'll be around a week. That will give me time to process the near 50 packages though that came in this week that haven't shipped out yet. So keep an eye on GYROS and just realize that I am working on things behind the scenes even if the GYROS doesn't reflect it :) I try to keep it as real time as possible. Thanks again!

You are welcome :) As mentioned I'm doing my best. I have 40 more Emails to go (every time I send out 10 I receive another 10 lol). I'm thinking that after April when I lose my day job it may actually turn out to be a Godsend in terms of my GFC side business. Being home all day 7 days a week in the morning would be very helpful ^_^. Appreciate it.

Been a while since I've last posted here, dropping by to give you and your wife a big CONGRATULATIONS! for the wonderful news :D Incoming baby Goomba next year! You sure have lots of stuff going on haha, all the best to you and your wife~

Congratulations Goomba. Remember as I mentioned, if you need any help, feel free to bug me.

I'm going to be down south this week, so I'll be picking up most of the items I need and bring them back with me, so just invoice me for the copy of NSMBW and I'll pay when I come back next week.

Thanks again =)

Just thought I'd join in and say congratulations on the baby news, Goomba! Hope everything goes well for you and your wife when the baby comes in February! :D

THANK YOU ALL ^_^ WE APPRECIATE THE CONGRATS :)

Yes, it's a crazy time for us all over here at GFC headquarters but the wife and I are ecstatically happy at the same time. I appreciate all the well wishes and I'll let you guys know when we find out if it'll be a boy or a girl (we have some name ideas but nothing solid quite yet). I shall keep you posted. In the meantime I'm going to process some orders as I have 2 hours before work. Man, grave shift is crazy confusing on the schedule =P Cya guys soon!

Great news guys, I was able to get my tablet laptop working from the casino break room :) this means I can remotely control my work/office computer and get some GFC'ing done on my breaks. Huge success ^_^. Since I spent this whole break setting it up, I'll resume Emails on the next one in 3 hours. Thanks guys!

Wait, do Goomba's have sexes?!? I just thought you two would have a little Goomba =D

Congrats on the baby goomba!

Just... please avoid the temptation to jump on its head at LEAST until the little guy (or girl) is a full-fledged goomba.

Do you know yet if it will look like this:

cryinggoomba_2.jpg

or this

?

** Shudders ** Oh that horrible Mario movie Goomba costume. I have nightmares of those awful looking things. How could they get them SO SO SO wrong. Gosh no...
Wow, congrats Goomba!! Goomba Jr. is going to be one hell of a video gamer, I just know it! ;)
Oh come on, you're supposed to say NICE things

You know, like... he'll probably be the President or an astronaut or a billionaire inventor someday. Well I guess "pretty good at video games" is almost as great an aspiration :)

If Goomba Jr. is an avid video gamer, anime fan, website developer, artist or whatever I'll be happy but honestly I'll support whatever it is they want to like. If they don't like the things I do, that's understandable. I have almost COMPLETELY different interests than both my parents, so it wouldn't surprise me. Doesn't mean I won't have quite a collection of games and age-appropriate animation available to them though ^_^.

** GFC Billing System Update **

It looks like CAG is back working :) For some reason I couldn't access it all during the day today. Anyhow, just wanted to let you guys know I spent a good deal of time setting up a new billing system for existing orders that have additional funds due (usually for shipping and what not). I will be incorporating this into the GYROS system immediately though it will take a couple of days for me to add in all of the orders that have money due.

The idea is this: You now have a list of all the orders with their Quickbooks Number / GFC Order Number / Picture of Item & Money due. On the right of each item will be an "Add to Cart" which you can check out when you're ready to pay for your remaining order funds due. The system has a lot of information about your items, but does NOT identify you by name or username, so there's nothing to worry about there. Once you check out through the system, your order will be removed from the list and we will update GYROS accordingly. Obviously you could pay for someone else's item if you really were feeling generous, but that would just pay it off for them, and not for you.

For a preview of this you can go here:

http://www.gamesforcanada.com/gfc-payments-due.php

This page uses Google Checkout which SHOULD work for you guys, but if it doesn't ... let me know and I'll go back to the drawing board :) I'm just doing all I can to make the process simpler for newer customers and to cut down on the level of manual invoicing. As usual, feel free to Email me if you have questions but just know there's a lot going on behind the scenes and it may take a few days to get back to you. Thanks again!

J-P, I'm experimenting a bit with Google Checkout only because they've created a GREAT shopping cart system that lets you add items from an excel spreadsheet (or more specifically Google Docs spreadsheets which are all done online). This lets me just copy and paste the item name, picture and price into a spreadsheet and that's it. No more to do on my part. Paypal requires me to send an invoice, log payment information and all that.

I will continue to use Paypal for the initial checking out on Direct Requests. Google Checkout will just be for orders with remaining funds due. If it works out really well then I will consider having a Paypal checkout option as well on this GFC Payments Due site. Always something to look into :). Thanks for the feedback!

Goomba...

Just letting you know I sent you an email asking you for an estimate on the weight of an order. As you'll see, it's not terribly easy, but I figure you have probably shipped so many things that your estimate will be far more accurate than mine. I'm posting that here because I plan to order IMMEDIATELY after receiving the info.

Also, I would REALLY appreciate an update on any credits I might have left (taking into account the orders I've already placed, of course). I imagine if I'm not totally out yet, then I must be incredibly low, so I would think it MIGHT be about time to purchase another lot of credits (and I remember one guy in the lowball asking what the hell I was going to do with $65 in credits!... lol).

This will be a roughly $250 order, with, I BELIEVE, somewhere in the neighborhood of $13 in fees... it's not a tiny order, but I have a coupon for the site that supposedly expires soon so it's really important I get an estimate and credit update ASAP so that I can place the order in time.

Also, I THINK you may have received that supposedly 17 pound package of mine today! Perhaps we can chat later and discuss what to do with it... lol.

Thanks again for all the baby well wishes :) Appreciate it!

emjaymj, you have exhausted all of your GFC credits as of the last order so that will take care of that. I will send you an update in a couple of days. Right now my schedule is insane (work 8 hours at one job, work 6 hours the second job, come home and sleep, repeat). I have literally not seen my home much more than an hour or two a day for the last few days and it won't really change until Wednesday or Thursday. Ugh. It's good I'm getting so many hours, but at the same time it's tiring :)

I am considering to reserve weekends (Saturday/Sunday) for existing orders only so that I don't eternally play catch up with new orders and Emails, but am not sure how I'll do that. It's a work in progress. I spend almost all my free time doing GFC and even bring my laptop to work on my breaks to answer Emails and they still come in. I'm starting to think having my wife stay home to work for me some day may be a very realistic solution. Anyhow, I'm leaving for work again. I will do my best to keep up with all the new orders. Give me a day or two if you can, and I'll try to estimate all your items.

Ugh. It's good I'm getting so many hours, but at the same time it's tiring :)

ack... i hope the coupon lasts long enough for your estimate + subsequent processing time. I imagine it will, but I have to admit the wait times as of late are a bit frustrating. I know there's a lot going on with you lately, but would you say it's more because of all the hectic stuff going on in your life right now, or an influx of orders/customers?

And how on top of everything would you say you are? Only reason I ask is because you updated GYROS and my order that says needs money to ship has shipped, another package you've had in your possession since mid-June still has yet to ship, and the rest of my orders aren't even displayed on GYROS. I wouldn't even bring any of it up if not for the fact that you indicated it'd all get sent out a little while ago. You decry inadequate weight estimates but always seem way off with your time estimates lol (I just found that to be a funny observation, I really apologize I couldn't make it come across less dickish... believe me I tried.)

Often nowadays i have to consider how much money I'm saving with you and weigh it against the cost of getting it much, much, quicker. Heck, if sheer demand is your problem, I'd rather pay you increased service fees to curb the skyrocketing demand or even pay someone to help out.

Please don't take it the wrong way, I love and appreciate your service. But the wait times have become a bit unrealistic, and the estimates near useless. I wish there was something I could do to help you solve this stuff heh. Especially with a kid on the way, I can only wonder how you'll manage when Goomba Jr. finally arrives.

i'm sorry if it all sounds a bit hypercritical, as I realize all this must be frustrating for you, and would bet good money that it is even MUCH moreso really than for any of us at the moment. I'm just wondering how things are going to play out in both the near future and further on...

I apologize if any of that sounds rude or like I'm complaining, it's just unfortunate, in my eyes, the transition the service has been trending towards, and I really wish I was capable of helping out or at least of coming up with something to help you figure out a way to bring back those former, very enviable response times. Though ironically (yes I am aware I'm making myself a part of this lol) I imagine the complaints and unnecessary inquiries slow you down quite a bit on top of everything else  ...so I apologize for that too :)

I'm on heavy painkillers for oral surgery so... sorry if I said anything excessively stypid or perhaps that should have been taken up privately lol. If that's the case, let me know (PM or email if need be) and I'll toss the offending part or the whole thing.

There's nothing wrong with that you said emjaymj.

I understand that you're being sympathetic towards his personal situation as I am as well, but this is a business that he's running. I know that he's a nice guy and everything but if goomba is unable to keep up with the growth of his business then he should maybe stop taking new orders for a little bit and focus on fulfilling all the backup up orders.

In my case, I am just waiting for an invoice to be sent to me so I can pay for extra money owed which I am more than happy to pay. I have been waiting since late June and I am not an expert in running a business but sending an invoice does not seem like the most difficult task. I purchased a summer dress for my GF and w/ summer now almost half order I don't really see the benefit of ordering the item to save money.

I'm sorry if I had to post this here but my pm's and emails do not get replied to.

The problem is... If you guys actually owe money, Goomba is not against you sending an absurd amount of money for shipping ($20) and then he'll refund it later. That way, you won't be waiting for him. If everything is paid, that is a different story.

I agree, though $20 is hardly an absurd amount :). It definitely causes an unnecessary holdup when people tend to chronically underestimate the shipping weight, as if they think Goomba is going to keep the balance or something.

As far as I go, I'm pretty sure I don't owe anything (except for one package in particular which is a very unusual circumstance and needs to be discussed first anyways) but I have a bunch of things that have been paid for and I've been waiting on for quite some time now, and, while none of them are super-duper urgent (he WAS kind enough to send the one that was), despite having placed a TON of orders in the past, i'm somewhat less eager to do so lately unless it's something I simply CAN'T get here. Whereas in the past, if I could save a bit of money with Goomba, I'd be willing to do it, it's increasingly not worth the wait. Though don't get me wrong - I'm not deriding his service and still hugely appreciate it (and honestly believe he could/should be charging more), short of putting direct requests on hold AGAIN (after having just done so recently), I can only imagine the wait times increasing even more as packages continuously pile up... there's clearly a bottleneck and unless it's solved i think frustrations are only going to pile up alongside the packages.

It thrills me to hear he has a kid on the way, but I also have to wonder how that will impact GFC. Will it be the beginning of the end? Realistically, GFC is absolutely unimportant compared to his kid (the notion is so ridiculous I can't believe I even feel like I have to state it), and it's not difficult to imagine how the HUGE responsibility of a child will affect lesser priorities such as GFC. I don't know if you're getting things in the same timely fashion that you used to Rogan (if you are, I envy you ), but I'm just having a heck of a time seeing how things can pick up again barring some absolutely drastic changes.

But like I said, I'm pretty much flying high after oral surgery, so my judgment might be impaired a bit  But any statements of fact remain true... though I'm probably overlooking things in my speculation and this forum might not be the best place to air my particular concerns... but I know you're fairly good buddies with Goomba so I figured I'd address your post anyways... as far as I'm aware, I'm all paid up on the items I should be, and told they'd be shipping out a little while ago with no indication that i owe anything else, so I'm not sure what else I can do...

Hey Goomba, I just put in an order. Total came to $21 on the first page, then jumped a bit to $22.5. Paid the $21 in Amazon codes but I don't have the $1.5 on hand at the moment. Think you could order it now and I'll have the rest in a bit (soon as SB gives me the new code)?

BTW, I went Back to see if my eyes weren't joking about the $1.5 increase and that caused the system to place the same order again.

Also, Congrats on Goomba Jr.

i could be wrong but i think the $1.50 is actually paypal fees, and so if you're using amazon codes, i don't think that $1.50 matters.

apologies if this is incorrect.

As for what I said yesterday...

That really wasn't necessary to post here, whether or not the concerns are legitimate. I have a feeling all my stuff is going to be headed for the backest of the backburners now

hey could i get an update on order#599616356 placed on july 13th? Just wanna make sure everything is OK. Grats on the baby

Just so you guys know, I'm going tomorrow with the wife to get our first ultrasound so I won't be home most of the day but I'm going to be working on GFC orders Wednesday-Sunday so we should catch up a lot. I'll do my best to update GYROS and answer Emails and put in orders. It's just so overwhelming this week. I have almost 120 orders coming in and there's a lot to do, so the best thing will be to just plow through orders. I think you'll agree that getting things shipped out and processed first is a priority over Emailing about statuses. Because if I just Email all the time I won't get anything done. Hope you understand. Thanks!

Absolutely. Maybe just ensuring GYROS is kept accurate would cut down on a lot of emails, though I don't personally have any idea of how difficult that is or the work involved - I'm a quite disorganized person so all I know is that if it were ME, it would be super-slow and absolutely lousy

So as far as that weight estimate goes... I'm guessing I shouldn't expect that for the better part of a week? Understandable, there's a bit of leg work to be done, and I suppose I don't even really NEED it.

Perhaps you could just give me an idea of the wait time between me placing the order/you processing the order, and you receiving it and sending it back out? I'm guessing those are figures you could come up with much more quickly than the rather complicated weight estimate I requested, and I have no problem sending FAR more than ample shipping money to cover everything, if I know the wait will be reasonable.

Or maybe when you feel the time is right, you can put GFC on hold for a very short time in order to code something that lets people check their order status, with the page querying the same database YOU use to keep track of things? Just tossing out ideas, but seems like it'd be ultra-streamlined that way, and actually render it absolutely useless to message you for updates as people will have access to the same info anyways.
