Looking at the newspapers circulars I got today, gamestop has a circular which is offering a $100 giftcard with 4gb kinect bundle as well as $60 gift card with the purchase of the 250GB Holiday bundle with Fable 3, Halo reach and 3 months Xbox live gold. Offer good from 11/6 through 11/12

Gamestop has a deal? Much like the time I was 11 and found my fathers porn stash I dont quite understand, but I think I like it.

Thank you. Just wanted to make sure these weren't taken for a "test drive" by the employees in the back room. I'll be disappointed if I purchase one and their are dorito and mountain dew stains on the console or controller. I guess the plus side to purchasing a console at gamestop is that it might have a Modern Warfare 3 or skyrim disc in it!

Oh I will have to see if GS is still offering a system trade in bonus so I can trade in my old fat arcade for a slim. Edited. Damn according to cag thread is no listed bonus for hardware currently. :( Not sure it is worth trading a controller and a good working 360 for $60.

U do know they too have the stickers that look just like the ones that make it look like a sealed new item. I wouldnt trust gamestop when buying new items unless it was recently released like the 250GB console with fable3/ halo bundle.
 
OP It looks like online they are offering the xbox live 250 holiday bundle with Once upon a monster. Does the ad mention not combinable with other offers for the $60 gc? I can't seem to bring up the ad. gamestop.com keeps timing out.
 
So if I was to return the 4 GB Kinect bundle new, would I receive cash back or a GC?
Also, would I have to return the GC?
 
Thanks for playing but yes, if you return the kinect bundle you have to return the GC. Or, if you don't, you'll just get $100 less in return. I think the way they work these is on your receipt you pay $100 less for the kinect bundle, then "buy" a $100 GC at full price. So when you go to return, the receipt shows you paid $100 less than retail for the hardware, and full price for the $100 GC.

If you paid for part of it with GS Credit, that portion will be returned to you as GS Credit. Any other money you used is likely returned to you in cash or in the form in which you bought it (i.e. charged back to your credit/debit).
 
Does anybody know how much a $299 Xbox would be with tax? How much does GameStop charge? And also is there anyway to tell what gamestops have them in stock?
