Gamestop $50 off coupon question

I would imagine the total amount would have to be 50 dollars before taxes, to use the entire coupon, since Gamestop are a bunch of video game nazi's.
Seriously though I'm not sure if you could buy say something 25 bucks and get back store credit etc.
It may have a lot to do with the person working the register too. I say this because my nephew used to be good friends with a guy who worked at GS and he would get all sorts of deals, breaks and freebies.
I'm sure someone will have a more definitive answer. You could call your local Gamestop and ask them. Good luck with whatever you decide to do though.
