Gamestop Bioshock 2 question

I was in gamestop today and saw a bioshock 2 AD stating if you purchase bioshock 2 you get the Sinclare's Solutions Test Pack DLC for free. When did this start? I assume it is in store only. Are they just handing out DLC cards when you buy the game, and do you have to buy it new?

Its not really dlc either its an unlock key as the content is already on the disc so it should be free.

Well i picked up bioshock 2 off their website, so i guess it doesn't matter now, lol. Buy anyways while i was there when i saw that sign it didn't click in my head it was the DLC, i was thinking it was the preorder stuff.

well I was at gamestop today and asked them about it. The manager says it starts tomorrow, so I plan to try and get one then.
