Gamestop Edge 10% off

Sorry, don't know if this is the right place for this but this seems the most appropriate place. What's the deal on the 10% off with the Edge card? Do you get it automatically when you use an Edge card or do you need to use a coupon or something?

You have to "buy" the Edge card along with a subscription to Game Informer magazine. It costs about $15 for one year. You get an extra 10% off on used games and 10% more on trade-ins.

If you can find a subscription post card for GI magazine (check the in store copy) you can check off just the edge card and send it in for only $2. Worked for me but not everyone.

In one of the GS threads, the Edge card/GI subscription apparently went up to $20/year. Still a deal if you buy alot and abuse the hell out of bonus coupons.

Oh I thought it was with like the gift cards and stuff. This deal isn't for me then. I barely ever buy games from gamestop
