Q: Is this sale for new or used games?
A: New games only. In the past, there have been B2G1 sales on used items associated with Game Days, so keep an eye out for that.

Q: Will all of the games be "gutted" or opened?
A: YMMV. Some stores I have been to basically open everything up and dump it into the bins. Others will only open a few copies and leave the rest behind the counter. If you want a sealed copy, make sure to ask.

Q: Is this in-store or online?
A: Both.

Q: Will the store accept a print-out of the 10% off coupon?
A: YMMV.

Q: Does the coupon work for one item or the whole purchase?
A: It works on all Game Days items bought in a purchase.

Q: Is there going to be a B2G1 on used games and accessories?
A: As previously mentioned, there could possibly be one later, but as of now, nope. There is only a B2G1 on used PS2 games when you buy a new PS2 system.

I might get Metal Slug 7 and Naruto Path of Ninja 2 for the DS if they are 50% off.

If anyone hasn't play Valkyria Chronicles yet what the hell are you waiting for? It's an awesome game.
 
Wow, this list is suckage. Last year IMO had a better list. There's only a few DS games I'm interested it (FF Tactics, Chrono Trigger) and MGS Collection on PS2. 360 and PS3 lists are a wash besides VC, which I already own. Hopefully, they'll add more games but I doubt it.
 
Don't forget about the extra 10% off in this month's issue of Game Informer (April 2009, with Bioshock II on the cover).
 
Decent list this year...between the RPGs and the PS2 collections. But, man, what's with the weak 360 and PS3 showing.

Considering there is a good chance most GS near me will gut them for the sale, I might just order any games online if I want something.
 
im guessing they will continue to add stuff as it gets nearer i have seen lots of gamedays sales they def should be adding more stuff
 
I'm interested in a lot of that list, but it all depends on what the price cut is. Hopefully the prices will be out soon.
 
FFTA2 and Chrono Trigger for DS are buys for me if they went half off. Not expecting it though....

Maybe on the FF games for PSP as well. And yes, the 360 list is suck.
 
I'll pick up the Namco Museum Collection for the 360, especially if it's 50% off, I mean that's 30 arcade games including Pac-Man CE, right? For $15 that would be a steal. I'm also going to look at Valkyria Chronicles, obviously. Other then that not too much else that I want or don't already own, and I wish Viva Pinata 2 was on here for the 360, but glad to see the Namco and Chronicles games on there, hope the prices are great.

More or less exactly how I feel. I see tons of things I could bite on at 50% off. Need to see those prices so I can do some elimination.

Agreed the 360 list is crap but the PC list is right there with it. Handhelds are the obvious winners here, which is great for me because I got a PSP not long ago and am still looking for games to build a library.
 
Resident evil essentials only thing I'm looking at. Some of the xbox games look weak, warcraft chest for $20 is dam good though.
 
What a horrible list. With a crappy economy comes dealers trying to fool people into thinking theyre getting better deals than normal.

Tomb Raider Anniversary and thats it.

Will definitely be picking up Valkyria Chronicles regardless of how discounted it is. I've been waiting for it to go on sale, and haven't had any luck so far. Might pick up the hulk/iron man games if they're cheap enough cause I'm a marvel nut. Maybe Devil May Cry collection also.
 
Nothing too spectacular but if Valkyria Chronicles goes down to 50% off I might bite.
There's also the Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection. If that drops 30% or 40% I'm all over it. I'm one of those freaks that's never played Metal Gear Solid.
 
Meh, the best stuff seems to be for the Wii and DS. I was disappointed by the 360 list. Hopefully there are some good games at the 50% off mark.
 
I've been waiting for Valkyria Chronicles to go on sale. The game's become scarce really fast considering it's only been out since the holidays. I can't wait for the sale. Thanks a ton OP!
 
I wish Final Fantasy IV DS was on the list, all the other Final Fantasy's for handhelds seem to be ;/

And as far as stuff I want, the only thing I want that I don't already own is the Devil May Cry Collection, which for $15 plus the 10% off coupon, is a steal.
 
Hopefully, people will read the part in the OP where it says the sales price are not up, especially after Cheapy made it green and Shrike made it bold. Sorry if there was any confusion, but I thought it would be good to get this up early, especially considering how big the discussion got in the previous thread.

Anyway, I know a lot of these games have been on clearance at others places, but I also know from reading the various clearance threads that there are plenty of people who never got in on the deals they wanted. This is a good chance to get in on them, especially with the 10% coupon from GI.
 
Very dissapointing list, I will get Valkyria Chronicles if it gets 50% off but most likely won't. I have a hard time paying near full price for a game. I was really hoping Ar Tonelico 2 would be on the list. How has RE:UC chronicles not dropped price yet, I would like to have it but even at 50% off it is 25 which is what it should be going for now anyway.
 
I see quite a few I might get if the price is right (mostly assorted DS and PSP games)-- which is pretty cool. You can't expect AAA titles on this sale and this is about what I was expecting.

Anyone into arcade shooters should definitely get Ghost Squad for the Wii, yeah it's repetitive but it's great.

(Woo hoo, I can FINALLY get the Friends Trivia game I passed up at the Circuit City liquidation over and over and over again! ;) )
 
Chrono Trigger is on that list... it didn't sell too well, I'm guessing.:whistle2:(

Valkyria Chronicles is the only thing that I really want but I'm guessing it'll be the hardest to find as everybody wants it. I might get Persona 3 FES (if it has the artbook/OST) but I'm guessing it doesn't.

Overall, a disappointing list though.

good list. I'm actually surprised by the amount of good titles considering last year's list. i'll probably pick up Chrono Trigger, Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection, Persona 3 FES, and maybe Valkyria.
