It says in fine print they will be offering $50 trade in credit as long as the game is purchased within 30 days of release. So if one were to purchase Battlefield 4 for $30 on Black Friday which falls within a month you can turn around and sell that same copy for $50 trade in credit if you purchase the nex-gen game for $10.
Free game + $10 gamestop credit. Spend $30, get $50 back when you trade in, buy upgrade for $10 and you will still have $10 remaining on your balance. Hopefully this will work.
