Excuse me for asking but why does the pspgo get such a bad rap on trade in value. 6 months ago they was only giving 50 bucks when it was still 200 now they excluded it from bonuses. I am curious as to the reasoning. TIA

They can't make any money off the sale of used games, so why even stock up a large number of handhelds that they will get no extra revenue from?

Thanks I never thought of it that way. LOL I liked it after I got to play around with it in person. I think it is definately worth 100. It will never replace the umd ones. IMo it s nice for what it is. To not give you the 20 bump is hardcore. It is only for a week. LOL

gamestops add has been trash thr past 4 weeks. (not that it's ever good) but there is usually a half decent used game going for cheap. its been all ps2 games or no games recently

jp clearly said there's no coupon this week. It's in the title of the thread.

The fact there's no used deals of the week, either, shows that GameStop is only interested in forcing used sales when major games are released in the form of those 25% off coupons.

And this is why having only GameStop as a major gaming retailer blows. Especially worse when Best Buy and Target don't step up their game, either.

Yep, I would go to Gamestop several times a month with those 25% off used coupons. Now, I haven't set foot in Gamestop since last Black Friday. Very sad.

Bravo, GameStop...no coupon or used deal of the week. Spectacular effort. It seems as though they are settling into the same sort of funk that Best Buy has been in (save the RZ coupons). Once Circuit City went, so did Best Buy. Game Crazy's absence is finally catching up.
 
A little off-topic, but has everyone's local gamestops started putting the used DS games in a glass case displaying the cartridge only? Has anyone gotten case art/ manuals anymore with this new style?
 
Yeah it was up at around 2PM today I just got distracted by my project in the TIV thread. Loads of fail from the ad again. No used deals of the week again.
 
That new ad template they seem to be using sucks. No used deals of the week. Hopefully they bring them, and the coupons, back.

I noticed that my EDGE card expired a couple weeks ago. But I haven't had a good reason to get it renewed all month!
 
Anyone know why some stores seems to have a large discount on the wii remote plus motion plus bundles? 34.99 for the remote plus the motion plus sensor is pretty good.

Probably trying to unload as much as they can before Kinect and Move come out. I still think they will put a big dent in Wii sales.
 
I like how next week's ad says "Also available on DS" for Plants vs Zombies. A quick look on their site shows that version won't be out until NEXT YEAR.
