Easiest method would be just to ask at game stores. As long as you're nice about it, they might give you some older stuff.

Yeah, about 3 months before halo 2 I asked the manager of my local gamestop if I could have a promo insert, bam got it. Later I asked for a metal mock up case, bam. And now I asked for what ever free swag they had and I got one of every pre order item.
