Gears of War 2 gold weapons

I havent played gears since sometime this past fall...
I got on last night and played some horde with a couple of friends, I never got the gold lancer or the gold hammerburst...
does anyone else have these out of no where???

is this a glitch or a welcome gift from epic
 
it was when you bought the limited edition game the code was in the box. you play gears 2 much? just got in it in the mail from gamefly could use some more people to play games with. gamer tag is Lone Dragon77

gold hammerubster - gave out at midnight launch

The were also given out last month, which youi just missed

Right now they are available to everyone as part of their "12 days of Gearsmas" event which ends today.

The giveaway mentioned above was on their forums, I think. I happened to see it the day it ended, d'oh.

used to play all the time...gonna get back into it...one of my favorites

part of 12 days of Gear-mas or something. where it unlocked online temporarily. sorry, not a permanent keeper. if you checked epic's site [GoW], they routinely give out free codes to the hammerburst or lancer.
