Gears of war 3 limited edition Controller

Hey, im wondering.
On some sites it says that with the controller you get a code for Custom multiplayer skins for the game's five starting weapons: Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Sawed-off Shotgun, and Gnasher Shotgun

and that you are given a code for crimson omen skin pack.

Now my question is, has any CAG member boughty this gun and can tell me if its true ?

Yup, it comes with a little card that has codes for the Infected Crimson Omen skins and 48 hours of Gold.

Thanks and do you have any idea what code comes with the 12months xbox + 2months extra, and a gears of war 3 code. what is that code ?

but you can unlock the crimson omen lancer skin in-game. so why buy the card and give a crimson omen skin ?

The Crimson Omen skin for the Lancer isn't unlockable in-game. You either have to buy it for 80 MSP, get it with 12 month gold, or have been in the Microsoft Expert Zone. I think it also comes with purchase of any other weapon skin pack.
