Genesis/Sega CD lot score - craigslist, how'd I do?

Picked up a neglected genesis lot off craigslist last week for $125

Genesis may be my favorite console and I've been picking up games here and there again over the past year or so.

I've spent awhile cleaning the stuff, testing, etc. and am overall happy with it. What do you guys think this stuff is really worth? I really wasn't looking to buy something like this but saw the add and figured it was a good deal + never owned a sega cd.

In short this got me 3 genesis consoles, 1 sega cd console, all hookups etc, 4 gamepads, 2 arcade sticks, a light gun and about 40 games...

Nothing particularly uncommon on the Games side, but the Sega CD along should be enough to recoup half your costs.

yep, working sega cd consoles are getting pricier. I'd really like to find one now.

The problem isn't demand or the amount available, it's that they're all broken.

no kidding. I bought a lot from a guy a couple years back for $75 that had 7 genesises, and 6 sega cds (3 model 1 & 3 model 2), and only 1 of each model worked. That's a 66% failure rate.
