I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, and when I mentioned it another trade thread, it sounded like no one knew about it.

Anyway, In the new May Catalog B&M, the one with Star Wars on the front, it lists:

Trade your N64 plus 6 games for $50 credit. Since they sell the used systems in-store for $17.99, this may be YMMV.

Also works for trade PSX plus 5 games for $50.

Thanks Xclaude for the scan!

Iggy worked for me.

Just take all your N64 games in with you. Have them scan them as they go, if they get a POX, just swap it with another. That's what I did, and all of my games worked.

my psx trade in went swimmingly..... traded it in with a .99 cent controller and some cheapo TRU games and PO games from another store for $50. They didn't check it out and the store was not busy.

Incidently, the other EB where i picked up the games to trade still had the banners up from the $25 psx trade in deal and were unaware of the $50 current deal. When I showed them the ad from the current catalogue they said they would honor it, though. Might be a good idea to keep it with you when going in to trade.

$200+ credit now in less than two weeks... pretty good says I.

Is there anyone here who works at EB that could get us a list of all the POX titles for these two systems, if such a list exists? I know we've got a small list going, but obviously a full list would make everyone posting in this thread VERY happy.

So awsome.

I finally brought in 3 PSX with 15 games and walked out w/ an xbox for my nephew. :)

I walked in and said, "I wanna trade these 3 systems in and 15 games using this promotion"

He said, "Yup!" and began scanning my games and such. FYI, some of my games didn't even come in its original jewel case; just generic clear jewel casing is fine. He does his thing w/ the computer to find the price for the disc alone, which is the same as one w/ the jewel case.

Also suprising to me is that he took the magazine and kept it. I didn't bother asking for it back since I didn't feel like I'll need it anymore.

The console rung up as $10 bux each and my games are roughly $0.10 to $1.00 each. He had to do each system separately. The lowest total for a system and 5 games is about $12.xx and the highest of the 3 sets is $16.xx. I was hella glad when he punched some buttons and the total jumped to $50 for each set. lol

I forgot which games i traded in, but here are the ones I can remember (I had 2 that are POX, but I traded them in anyways.... hence I don't have them at hand to remember to exclude them):

Resident Evil 2
Legends of Dragoon
Driver
Worms Armagedon
James Bond 007
Twisted Metal 2 (not sure)
Twisted Metal 3
Destruction Derby 2
Jet Moto (not sure)
Yu-Gi-Oh

and some others that I forgot.... :p

I wanna thanx the OP so much, cause of this neat deal I got a new SP (w/ zelda), final fantasy I and II : dawn of souls, Cima the enemy, lufia, and river city ransom all for 60.00 cash (the games were pre owned and complete). It took a few trade ins of the 64's etc and some road work to a few EBs locally. but it worked out great.

No Problem! ^^^^

I just picked up a couple PS1s and a bunch of games for $40. I just need to get a power cord and RCA plugs for one of them and I am set. :bouncy:

All PS1

Works -
Action Man - Operation Extreme
Cabela's Big Game Hunter : UDC
The WIld Thornberries: Animal Adventures
Powerboat Racing
Motocross Mania 2
Test Drive 4
World Destruction League: Thundertanks
Soviet Strike
Namco Museum M (supposedly all letters work)
Putter Golf
Pong
Cool Boarders 2001
Battle Stations
R/C Stunt Copter

Doesn't work:
NHL Faceoff (unyeared one)
Strike Point
Wrestlemania the Arcade Game
Ridge Racer
Perfect Weapon
WCW Nitro
Grind Session
2Xtreme

Hmmmm. do any of your guys' TRUs carry N64 games?

My EB locally is picky, I have a feeling they'd bitch if I bought $1.99 N64 games and then tried to turn around and use them for the deal. There's also about a 50% chance they'll bitch about not having boxes (assuming I didn't use TRU games).

so i noticed something today when i bought my 3rd n64 to trade in
the games say on the labels (at eb) POX or PO, where the title and price is, plus UPC or sku or whatever.

i browsed through the cheaper titles and only found 2 that were not POX that were 1.99 (at this particular store), madden 2002 and nba live 98 i think, i forgot.
or you could just go up with a bunch of cheap games (if they don't have labels) and watch the little credit card scanner thing and when they ring up the games it says on there what you have, and next to the games they will either say PO - (title) or POX - (title).

just thought some of you real cheapasses like myself would like to know.

well other people (including myself) were looking for pox titles for n64 and ps1, so since there is no list i guess this is the next best thing!

I had ASB 2K listed in my post earlier -- '01 might or might not work (I'm guessing it would, though)

Anybody know if there is a limit to the number of systems you can trade in to one store location? I've already got two traded at one location and they said the only rule was one per day. Anyone hear otherwise?

Traded today, bought all of them at GR with store credit...
PSX ($20 + tax)
Namco Museum 3 (M)
Wild Thornberries Animal Adventures
R/C helicopter
Pong
Motocross Mania 2

The games were all from the 5 used ps1 for $15. I shoot, I score!

$37 GR credit = $50 EB credit. Then I can flip among the EBs to multiply further! LE YAY!

Ah... screw it. Suppose I'll waste the time driving out to TRU, and waste money buying 8 or so games (I have 2 games, but in case they need boxes + in case I buy 6 and a few are POX).

Of course, knowing my luck, they'll look at my printout, go 'omgwtflol', and say there is no such deal anymore.

Should still be good til July 2nd. You shouldn't need boxes for anything.

i read the previous posts and have something of a list of cheap PO psx games going. I'm heading out to a couple EB's tonight, anyone have any I can to my list?

The goal is $1.49 PO games, but $1.99 is acceptable.

thanks!

Just traded my N64 with Conker's BFD, NBA Live 1999, Perfect Dark, Paper Mario, Goldeneye, Donkey Kong 64 , plus a generic controller and a memory card and rumble pack. The woman there said it was only 5 games to get the $50 credit so i rolled with it and i got a whopping $0.35 for my third party controller and mem card and Rumble Pack combined. I got Goldeneye DS and a Mad Catz XB memory card (Im going to San Antonio for a month) from the trade credit. Goldeneye is underrated, its a good mindless shooter and has bots to battle if you have no friends, like me!

don't know if it was already mentioned but any game on top of 6 gets you a lot of credit as well. I traded in 8 games and ended up with a battlefield 2 pre-order and 6 bucks left over (which I plan on putting towards Far Cry or another game in the next little while)

Are you saying they would've given $5 bonus for every game even if it's over 6 games? Then I should've bought some crappy $2 games to trade in when I went for the deal.

How much did you get overall before ordering Battlefield?

I traded in Tony Hawk 1, 007:Tommorow Never Dies, Soviet Strike, Metal Gear Solid and a Yu Gi Oh game which I got all of them from GR 10 minutes before for $15. Traded in a first gen PSX I got from my friend when mine started acting up. They didn't even test it so I wish I'd have used mine. The guy was really cool about it too so thank god. It seems my GRs are all out of PS1/Ones though sadly. I don't know where I can get more to trade in.

Anyone know a good place to get power cables and/or AV cords? I have mine still but I lost the cables.

Didn't work for me. I had an extra N64 PO game and I only got 50 cents for it. Funny too, the guy was giving me crap about not having N64 boxes and manuals, but ended up giving me the deal when I was ready to take everything back. Must have some kind of trade-in quota or something.

ok so long story short, i started with $100 GS credit, turned it into $250 or so eb credit after flipping like 4 n64's and 2 ps1's. got a blue ds with free mario, a couple extensions for gamecube, a ps1 screen, xevious for $3 and still have like $30 left over. i can still do it a few more times before july 2nd!
