I'm looking into this - I always spend WAY too much time looking into things.
Anyway FYI the 3DS bundle deals I googled was $179 at Best Buy and Target; red includes Mario Land or black includes Ocarina of Time. GS has them listed for $199, probably just so it looks like you are getting more for your TIV. I'll be trading in a white DSi and I'm PUR + so I'll probably go GS w/ the GC this weekend and wait for a B1G1 sale on the games.
