They want the number after the DC but before the dash and PCH if you can't find it.

If that doesn't work, put a 0 before or after your serial number.

Keep in mind it may not work for Vita's that haven't been bought recently.

It accepted my serial number even I think my vita was purchased on day 1, but I suppose that might not mean it'll actually work.
