I've been annoying the hell out of my parents for the past year to get a new PC or upgrade our (5 year old piece of shit) computer, and now they have finally considered it. Instead of them spending a bunch of money on an already built PC I suggested that he pays a tech guy from his work to build the PC. He is still unsure about this, but I said it would save a lot of money. The only problem is I don't have a damn clue on what parts would be good to put into a gaming PC, so if anyone on CAG has any suggestions that would be very helpful. The budget, I'm guessing, is anywhere from $700-$1,200 it depends how much the award my Dad is getting for is worth. I was going to buy a PC for myself but my parents don't trust me with the internet for my room, so don't think I'm just getting my parents to buy a PC just for me I get to share it with a brother that is going to college (woohoo!).
