Give New Members a Little Leeway

I just joined this forum about a week ago when a friend from another forum told me about this place. I was disappointed to find that I was unable to post or reply to anything for the longest time. I'm not too sure why there's a rule like that, but it sure as heck is annoying. Anyways, I'm here and I hope I'll be staying. Looks like a cool place to chill.

Because people make fake accounts and troll. Big reason why there is a wait time.

I guess. prevents a lot of fakes, but probably also deters a lot of new users. Well, rules are rules.

True, it sucks that they ruin it for the new users.
