Glitch or Overheating

OK so I got a Ps3 Super slim January 5th and have used it ever since but today when I turned it on soon as a fired up a game it showed a over heating error and shut off. When turned back on it just maxed that fans and sounded like a jet engine but soon as I restarted it again its been perfectly fine and have been playing it all day.

This happened to someone else soon after that system came out.

I think they had the exact same issue as you. When they turned it off, it went back just fine.

From what I understand, this is a common issue with the super slims. My sister got the GTA V combo and she's told me that it's happened a couple times. But, she hasn't mentioned it in awhile, so maybe the problem eventually goes away.
