Check back later I suppose aka closer to when the sale ends for a restock. Oh and the key for SR2 works on Steam. Thats why I posted mainly LOL. The game itself is a tad bad in the glitchzor department because Volition quit support. But if you can get pass the game stuttering, I didn't have any game breaking glitches and I had a lot of fun with it Co-Op online which I got to work well with friends. Anyways enjoy everyone.

EDIT: Just thought I'd add that Prey for PC is only $1.90 plus $2.99 shipping, its key too can go on steam, I really enjoyed that game quite a bit, for $5 total that is a sweet deal as well, even though I know it has been roughly this price before I thought I'd add it.

SR2 is one of my favorite games of this gen. However, I played it on the 360, so I can't say anything about the quality of the PC version.

I own both, PC version came from the THQ steam pack. Works like a charm on both, graphics are about the same.

Tempted to buy a copy of SR2 even though I already own 3 copies for 360 (2 copies for co-op play and one sealed LE for fandom).
I agree with crzyboy88, it's one of the best current gen games.

If anyone is thinking about ordering Painkiller: Overdose its cheaper on Steam ($4.99) and obviously doesn't have shipping costs.

What about Prey for $4.89? I know it is an old game but I recently played SR2 good GTA-clone but hard with PC controls. I could not play some of side quest such as the ATV with firesuit and the Hellicopter quests are hard too with keyboard and mouse.
Isn't Saints Row 2 supposed to be one of the worst, buggiest PC ports in recent memory?
Yeah, pretty much.

The game is tons of fun, but it's hard to put up with. Even with the performance tweaks and fixes found in this thread, it still runs like shit. I've got a quad core, 4GB RAM and an 8800GTS 512mb with everything turned off and the framerate will be all over the place. One second it's 45 and the next it's 18. Turning V-Sync on helps a little bit as it caps the framerate at 30, so it's not so erratic, but it still dips down into the teens for no reason at all. It's the worst when driving. Slide show.
