Try the Apache Air Assault demo, it's quite a fun helicopter sim. I am considering ordering it even though I know it will drop. At $40, $10 off retail at $50, it ain't bad. I suggest everyone give it a shot. I think it will surprise you. It sure is not shovelware.
 
Was Nier really that bad, or rather, worth it?

Critics panned the graphics, and the rest was rated as average or so. At about $23 shipped, that's pretty low. The GT video review makes it look like it's Final Fantasy meets Zelda, with some GOW gameplay (sounds good on paper, however).

I'd watch some videos to get an idea of how it is -- mainstream reviews are way to off base these days. I'm slightly interested in it as well but I can wait.

The soundtrack is exceptional though, I've listened to some of it.
