up should come with 4 i believe

The Only Up BLu Ray that I know of was four discs, which I think were

Blu Ray
Special Features
Digital Copy
DVD
Nooooo.. :(

Curse me for buying Previously viewed then. If I would've bought USED it probably would've come with all that. Oh well it was only 9 bucks. No loss right?

I paid $10 for a brand new copy and then a week later found a used copy of Up 4 disc blu-ray with slip cover at a pawn shop which I bought for my trade list. Would really like to trade it for Monsters Inc.

Well, I ebayed the DVD and Digital Copy for about $25 after picking up the Blu-ray at Target for $15, so I was payed $10 for getting it. Those DVD and digital copy bonuses make BRs very cheap.
Got the majority of my orders today, still missing a few and have about 10 that haven't shipped yet. Almost all previously viewed movies had a sticker on the disc.

Bruno - came with just 1 disc
Crank 2 - came with just 1 disc
Drag Me to Hell - came with 2nd disc
Fighting - came with 2nd disc + digital copy code
Harold & Kumar Escape from GB - came with 2nd disc; no digital copy code
Hitman - came with 2nd disc + digital copy code
International - came with just 1 disc
Notorious - "rental exclusive" case art that says theatrical version only + just 1 disc
Observe & Report - came with 2nd disc + digital copy
Paul Blart Mall Cop - came with 2nd disc + digital copy
Semi Pro - came with 2nd disc
Spirit - came with 2nd disc; no digital copy code
Superbad - came with 2nd disc
Walk Hard - came with 2nd disc
Wanted - came without 2nd disc in a single disc blu-ray case
Watchmen - came with slip cover, 3 discs, digital copy code
Wrestler - "rental exclusive" case art with just 1 disc
Yes Man - came with 2nd disc; no digital copy code

In the future I would recommend people avoid buying previously viewed copies of The Wrestler as well as Notorious.

edit: My Notorious was listed as used too =(
my previously viewed the wrestler came in original case. with one disc also.

So I received the last two today, which were in great condition once again.

War
L.A. Confidential
Menace II Society
Sin City
No Country For Old Men
Casino

$46.

Not too bad

Just got 3 more delivered today
The Assassination of Jesse James - Case and disc in great condition
Ratatouille - Case and disc in great condition, no inserts
Inglourious Basterds - Everything in great condition w/ slip cover and digital copy.
did your IB come with the slipcover?
yes it did.

also got District 9, Taken, and Terminator Salvation all today cases/digital copies (3rd disc for TS) and even the digital copy codes) were all there and in mint condition D9 even had the plastic seals still on it.

i'm wondering if the way they are shipping the movies is by what stores you are close to, cuase i've always had excellent condition of cases on games/movies at the local store in town.

and all my blu rays were bought with the USED option not the previously viewed one.

I think my My Bloody Valentine 3D is not 3D =(

I didn't know there was a non-3D version of this movie on blu-ray, but I didn't see an option to switch between 2D & 3D any where. It also doesn't say 3D any where, and for some odd reason the movie had really bad motion lag, I think its called ghosting?

Great. Now I wonder if I should email go-hastings. Will they send me the rest of the disks?

When I rented it from Netflix the day it came out, I couldn't find the 3D version either--maybe there's a rental version--did you choose Used or Previously Viewed?

FYI: Ice Age 3: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs is a "rental exclusive" as well.

So far...

7 out of 14 shipped
5 out of 14 arrived
7 out of 14 still "in progress" since Sunday.

I was one of the first few to place an order when the sale went live too...hopefully the other 7 ship soon.

Got 22/25 so far this week, all have been in original case and excellent condition. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl came brand new still in the plastic. Placed my order early Friday for most of them, and a few more later that day.
so friday is another blu ray dvd used sale right? ha ill make sure to watch it early in the am so i get something this time.
in-store yes, online we don't know for sure.

got a few more today. my case for the uninvited was sliced to hell and cracked up, my case for friday was cracked, and no slipcover for nightmare before xmas. do they even check these damn things before they ship them out? so far about 5 of my blu-rays have come with broken cases.
just buy blu ray cases for 65 cents, only thing that should matter during this sale is the disc
thats not my point. you shouldnt have to... it seems like they knowingly just ship them out with broken and cracked cases. a blind chimp could have noticed these cases were broken, i mean c'mon.

with the uninvited....it was sliced up so bad that not only is the actual case sliced but the actual paper sleeve insert of the cover itself has a GIANT slice going across the whole cover.

they are used, of course they arent going to be perfect

if the cover is ruined, then I would be frustrated, but you could always just print out a cover. getting a fairly recent released blu ray disc for $5+ a new blu ray case is a pretty good deal if you ask me. I just dont see the point when you can just buy a case for chump change and you are still getting an amazing deal

To all those complaining about the condition of their used items here is a quote from their site:

Due to the nature of used products; booklet inserts, digital movie downloads and manuals are not guaranteed in our used movies, video games and CDs. We do, however, guarantee full functionality on all used media sold at our stores or at www.goHastings.com

Seems to me if that is the expectation then most people should be happy with their orders, and if that is not the expectation you should have looked a little closer at the site before you ordered.

they crack in the mail
I probably won't buy any more blu-rays tomorrow unless the $5 off magically shows up again :)
that would be o so nice to c again

I was hoping this would be cleared up by now, but I'm still waiting for things to finalize.

Of the 10 I ordered, 9 have shipped and arrived. However, instead of sending Pinocchio, they sent Predator 2. And of course Pinocchio is now OOS so I can't get that corrected. They told me to just keep Predator 2 and will give me a refund for Pinocchio once my order is complete. I'm still waiting on A Bug's Life to ship, which is listed as OOS, so I don't know how long it's going to take.

Not a bad haul. If Hastings keeps doing deals like this (and as long as they don't make any further mistakes), I'll probably give them all my business. Average price of $5.82 for barely used blu-rays is a steal.

Got most of my order, but like someone elses situation ordered x2 steelbook and they sent me the regular version. Called and got a credit. Though I dont have high hopes at this point for my Die Hard steelbook. :(

I got all 8 of my movies in from my newest order. Only one was missing an insert and the rest were great (I even got two working digital copy codes). Good stuff! None were sealed this time, all were used.
So there having another 40% off Blu sale starting up?

Damn I don't know if my wallet can take it.
ditto. Holy crap.
But boy do I want MORE.
Especially if they keep shipping them in Perfect condition (the discs).

Got the first bad one, Horton Hears a Who in a regular DVD rental case. Not too upset about it because that one is for my daughter, and it was like $4. Couldn't be much happier with this, will certainly be checking to see if this sale returns.

I have received all but 4 of my order, 2 of which are OOS and still say "in progress" (Year One and Beetlejuice). Two of the previously viewed are in regular DVD rental cases but have the blu-ray artwork, replacement cases will be easy enough to get. Donnie Darko looked like it had been handled with jelly fingers, cleaned off easily and no scratches. 3:10 to Yuma is still new and sealed. No cases are cracked, but the plastic on the back of Juno is torn. There's a couple of digital copies here and I'm sure some are missing, I have no intrest in them so that's ok. Over all I'm very happy with the order and find no glaring reasons to be leery of ordering if the prices are that damn good again.

No idea, but unless they restock, I can't be that excited. I'm really wanting Snatch and Lock Stock on blu-ray, and Silent Hill if it's cheap, but the latter two don't even show up as used blu-rays any more.
The 40% off sale will be BACK next weekend! January 15th - January 16th. It's in next week's flyers.
The sale is on now, BUT the sale applies only for a handful of used DVDs.

Used Blu-Rays are all regular price & the ones from last week sales are all still out of stock to boot.

Well time to go to sleep.

it's probably only IN-store this time. I'll have to swing in later this morning to see.

I'm pretty sure that 40% off in store is based on their list prices. So for instance, Bruno would be $12 instead of $6.50. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure in store is all list price.

so i just called hastings asking how to set up a return for the condemned and freddy vs jason since mine came pretty scratched up today. the lady was nice as hell and told me i didnt even need to bother returning them since it was only about $7 total for the both of them. she gave me full credit. pretty hassle free if you ask me.

wow Blurays CAN get scratched up enough to not play?

pics or it didnt happen.

I remember hearing something about the earliest blurays being prone to scratches, besides that it would need a lot of abuse to get scratched. Those are fairly new release he's talking about though.
