Hey guys, my headset died on me today and I'm in the market for a new pair. I'd prefer one with a 3.5mm connector but if there's a good priced usb one, I might get that. I was hoping for some recommendations from fellow CAGers. Just to clarify, I want the microphone on the headset and not just a pair of headphones. Thanks guys.

The fatal1ty gaming headset is the best headset I've ever used (and I've gone through a number of them). Has a detachable noise-cancellation mic, mic/volume control on the cord, nice padding on top so it wont hurt your head, very nice soft cloth padding on the ear pads, and adjustable height so it fits your head comfortably. Sound is AMAZING.

here is a good review of the product:

Look at the reviews and you will buy it.

I hate to say it but good gaming headsets are not sold at Circuit city :whistle2:#[/quote]

The Circuit City website has a lot of stuff not stocked in the store that are definitely good. I had a gift card there, used a coupon code from some website I found and got a G15 keyboard. Certainly a good gaming product.

The fatality headset is pretty decent for the price... I've given it consideration. I've been holding out for a really good deal, since I already have a pair of Sennheiser HD 201's... pretty great for some cheap stereo headphones. I'd like to have another set dedicated for my PC with a microphone, so I can have a set for my 360 and one for my PC.
