im curious if there are ever any sales/promos for google play cards?

I haven't ever seen them on sale, but I did buy a $10 card for $5 in the trading forums a few months back. Also, download this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.paidtasks and you'll be able to earn some money occasionally. It's usually only 25cents every week or so (nothing much), but sometimes I get lucky and score $1. Depending on how much you buy, that may be enough.

Costco had a great deal over the holidays during BF weekend.  Their normal deal on a 3-pack of $20 cards of $53.99 was $7 cheaper, so it was $46.99 for $60 worth.

Their regular deal of $53.99 for $60 worth of cards is about as good as I've seen with any regularity.
