Gotham City Imposters is now a free to play game, so anyone who was wanting to give it a try now can. Figured this was the best place to post this so don't hate on me if it isn'tYou can get it on steam right now.

it's the Steam version with Steam achievements. Support for the GFWL version is being dropped.

Still, that's the way Warner Bros. Interactive has gone about things, which leaves quite a few Imposters players fairly confused. If you own Gotham City Imposters on XBLA or PSN, the news doesn't affect you at all. Games for Windows LIVE users, on the other hand, might want to consider grabbing the Steam version, because WBIE is dropping support for Imposters on GFWL.

I am pretty sure they are dropping it, but for anyone who bought the GFWL live version, since your stats and unlocks don't carry over, you get the Professional Imposter Bundle free, which unlocks numerous guns, gadgets, support items, costumes and permanent xp boosts.

I believe people who bought the game GCI via xbox 360 and PS3 got the code for double xp

If you were one of those people who bought the PC version prior to the switchover to steam. registering the cd key via steam will get you some DLC.
