Yeah, I believe most WalMart stores can have their own pricing structure...so YMMV on this one.

I know their DVD prices for new releases are always different from store to store.

I was at Wal-Mart on Tuesday. Zelda was at the regular price (I think it was $49.99). Definitely YMMV.

I used to live in KC and they had a big sale one day out of the blue. It was entirely unrelated to the other Wal Mart's in town. Sometimes the individual stores will just do something crazy like that.

These Wal Mart price rollbacks are all YMMV. Individual stores are responsible for their own price changes and clearance items, so that's why you see deals at one store and nowhere else. It's not like Target where all the stores price changes are linked to one another.

to be fair, sometimes tgts do have different prices, but usuallly they will drop. walmart had those ps2 broadband adaptors for $15 on clr, then i went to another store the same day and they were $5  @ myself because i bought only one (never thought i'd buy a ps2) as a gift for a friend... plus i returned the $15 one!!!

I went to my local WalMart to try to confirm the Gameboy Player deal. Since all of their price scanners were either destroyed or turned off, I took the item to a cashier, and asked him for a price check on it. He promptly took me back to the electronics department, where he consulted the shelf tag and told me it was 49.96. I asked him if it might be on sale, since I had seen it discounted "elsewhere", and he said no without even looking. So, I was not able to confirm the deal, oh well. I didn't even bother asking about the games, since they were all in lock-up, and trying to find a different associate was like pulling teeth.

i really wasn't going to post anything here....but SCSG75............your avatar.........its disturbing.........i dont like evil clowns..........the movie IT gave me nightmares for weeks........i say we have a vote to change that avatar........think about it!

That's a pretty good price for Four Swords.

My closest store has the odd habit of marking games down a dollar or two at a time. Hopefully the proposed new store that has my town pissed off will have a better mark-down set-up.

I don't think they do ads. It goes against their "Everyday low prices" motto. If my intro to business class can be believed.

Last time i ran into a WM employee that was like this i told him to scan it or id kick him in the nuts. Then i got escorted out.

They do have ads, but I'm not sure how frequent, depends on the area for distribution as well. I did a report for my business class on the Boston Beer Company (free taste tests = :D ), but the people who did Walmart said one of the ways employee moral was raised because they and their family were used for the ads. When I did see one, it listed who they were, what Walmart they worked at or had a relative at. They're still an evil corporation though.

That's good, as I hate evil clowns as well, I even hate good clowns if there is such a thing. That is EXACTLY why my avatar is not an evil clown or a clown of any persuasion. It is The Crow.

Edit- If The Crow scares you too, then mayhap you could think of it as Sting the professional wrestler. If he scares you too, than I apologize. At least I used Brandon Lees Crow character and not the guy from the second movie. Now THAT'S scary.

EDIT- There, I changed it too hopefully a less scary picture. I hope this helps.

My Wal-Mart has ads. Just not in the mail or newspaper (well, rarely in the Newspaper, but sometimes in the mail). They are in the store in a newpaper like rack right when you walk in. I am going tomorrow for other things, so I will check it out then.

BTW, this is Stillwater, OK SuperCenter Wally-World.

This is def YMMV. I went to my only local WalMart yesterday and LoZ 4 Swords wasn't priced. So I asked a clerk to open it, the old bastard had the wrong key then didn't come back to me because he had customers. The stupid locked case and children everywhere. Man, I despise WalMart and would have really liked LoZ cause it's not even cheaply used.

Has there ever been a reciept posted from one of these supposed 'Wal-Mart deals'?? I admit, I am a cynic, but this 180-pound-handsome-6'4"-lawyer currently-dating-Brooke Burke-self feels a lot of B.S. flowing from a good portion of these people posting.

hey i got a GC memeory card 1015(or whatever nuber in the thousands it is) for 15$ last week and sold it for 30 to some unsuspecting retard on the street who had a megaman shirt on
