Green lines on some Blue-ray discs - help

I'm playing back Iron Man on blu-ray using the Metal Gear 80gb ps3, connecting to a Toshiba Regza 32hl67u 720p hdtv via hdmi and there are green, dotted and dashed horizontal lines at the bottom of the picture.

I had this issue with the blu-ray version of Close Encounters (which I eventually returned).

How can I tell if it's the ps3 or the tv? I don't get this issue with other blu-rays dvds like Blade Runner?

I was thinking of getting a component cable to use - maybe the issue is with the hdmi ports on the tv?

Any thoughts or experience with similar issues would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I got a component cable and still see the lines.

FYI - I contacted Sony support by going to their website (and clicked through, oh, I don't know, about 3 invalid security certificates/non-secure warnings!) and they sent me an email the next day saying they were going to send out a box so I can send my unit back.

I'm still dying to know what's so special about Iron Man & Close Encounters? Is my unit choking on their video encoding, because my other blu-rays play fine.
