You know what would be awesome? If they used this bundle to announce the brand new PC port of God Hand and Capcom decides to release with a bang in a Groupees bundle.
Or a PC version of Dragon's Dogma. That's the only Panty Raider game I'd be interested in from this bundle.

Drives me nuts, they don't port that and yet they inexplicably will publish some of this crap and port Resident Evil games to PC for some goddamn reason.

Also these please:

Okami HD

Vanquish
Bayonetta
Viewtiful Joe
Madworld
Viewtiful Joe 2

I've only played 4 of them. Sucks.

P* is the only Japanese dev company I like and they're one of my very favorite overall. No fucking way I'm getting a Wii U though.

Free Bayonetta!
I never did get around to playing Okami or Viewtiful Joe :(

There's a countdown until the Doujin bundle.

~12 hours

Now that we have the full list, any recommendations from people in the know?

...and WTF is War of the Bundled Tanks doing in there?

It's a japanese game, I figured it'd be in this bundle.. since it seems to get bundled everywhere else. I only have 2/7 games this time.. pretty decent bundle.

Thanks for the links about the Doujin bundle; I will definitely pick up at least half of the titles.

The Earthquake Fund is a great charity, so I hope lots of CAGs can donate and enjoy some awesome Japanese indie games!   :bouncy:

Hm. Cafe 0 and Yousei look interesting and I'm on the fence about Yatagarasu and Ether Vapor (not generally my kind of games).

Only tangentially related -- anyone buy a 'gift/extra' copy of the Be Mine 8 they're willing to part with?

And before you say 'try here' with a link, I'm a special VIP, I have super access card privilege~

FYI, in the support chat someone from groupees mentioned keys.

"The VN games come with Desura keys and drm-free for all platforms. Cherry Tree High and Ether Vapor Remaster come with Steam, Desura and DRM-Free"

I wonder if Cafe 0 ~The Drowned Mermaid~ is the "voiced" version? There are 2 versions on Desura.

I'm guessing it'll be the regular version, with no voice acting.

I'd definitely recommend Cherry Tree High Comedy Club but that's kind of an obvious choice being on Steam and having cards and all that jazz.

I've had my eye on Yousei for a while. Found a review for it here: http://www.indiegamemag.com/yousei-review/ She seemed to like it. Note that the third in a series but the others are not on Desura. Anyway this is the newest one and said to be the most polished.

Found sort of a mixed review for Cafe 0 on Gamezebo http://www.gamezebo.com/games/cafe-0-drowned-mermaid/review

War of the Human Tanks seems to be the Magicka of bundles.

This makes four, all with different companies.

I don't have any of the other games besides War of the Human Tanks and I'm not seeing a reason to not get all of the others. Any opinions on reasons to not get any of these?

Yousei, Yatagarasu, and Cafe 0 for me. Own the rest with only the War of the Human Tanks being from a bundle. I usually buy Nyu Media games right away or after a short time. Pretty nice!

I want the music from the video! Anyone knows the band's name? Yes, I love J-rock (mainly visual kei, Malize Mizer beign my favourite) :)

Hope so!!
ditto, I've been having a blast with J-Pop Radio in Beat Hazard Ultra and need some more (also wish they would stick to only J-Pop instead of mixing in other random tracks, but that isn't really relevant).

I think this might be the only BaB where I want more than just 1-2 games. Definitely getting Cherry Tree since I've been really wanting to try it, and am tempted to pick up a lot of the others as well.

Ether Vapor Remaster only has one very low review on Metacritic, but the user average is much higher and the buzz on CAG seems mostly positive. I haven't got a lot of experience with bullet hell games, so for those who have played it, is it easy enough to get into or will I be completely overwhelmed right off the bat?

Yousei and Cafe 0 both intrigued me, and I'm guessing they are interactive novels of sorts (correct me if I'm wrong). They sound like they could be pretty cool or a complete grind to get through depending on the quality of the writing/story, so I will have to look into them a bit more.

Yatagarasu is almost a definite pass as I'm terrible at fighting games, and being DRM-Free only is just another reason I don't feel compelled to get it.

War of the Human Tanks doesn't interest me and looks slow as heck. Also it sounds like it has been bundled to death, so I will no doubt wind up with it anyway somewhere down the road.

Croixluer is the game I'm most curious about. I've really enjoyed what I've played of Fairy Bloom Freesia and would like to pick up another Japanese arena action game (about the best way I can think to describe it), and it looks to fit the bill quite nicely. It's also on Greenlight, which even given the unlikely hood of it ever coming to steam, is a plus for me.

Definitely much more excited about this bundle than the past 3-5, but given my love of anything Japanese *insert weeaboo joke*, that shouldn't come as a surprise ^_^

fuck yeah!

In for everything but human tanks.

If you have an interest in shumps Ether Vapor is an easy recommend. To me, right now it's the star game, everything else is "worth a shot for $0.75 or less" (and I'm willing double dip for a Steam steam version of Cherry Treee at this price).  I've had my eye on Croixleur since it popped up on GG in Winter; it's an arena fighter.  The reviews are mixed, but the price is right.

Ether vapor hasn't been cheaper than $4.  Cherry Tree (non-steam) was $2.72, steam version hasn't been sub-$4 iirc.

It's good that people are embracing their inner waifu protectors.  Might I suggest Tomb Raider (2013) -- must protect vulnerable Laura waifu!

Cherry Tree cards sell for at least a dollar each currently, likely to go down in value after the bundle hits though.
