Get Your FREE Downloadable Special Event Map at participating stores listed below on 7/31 from 1-4PM for The Ultimate Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies Experience.

Here's how it works:

•Bring your Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSiXL and your Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies game to receive the Special Event Map. You will need to make sure you have unlocked Quester's Rest in Stornway before being able to receive the map via Tag Mode.

•Participate in assisted walk-through, guided multi-player modes and connect with other Dragon Quest fans!

To those who have played:

How long will it take me to "unlock Quester's Rest in Stornway"? I just grabbed the game at TRU, but wasn't planning on starting it quite so soon.

A few hours. It's not right at the beginning, but you should get to it fairly soon without too much trouble.

it's like the 2nd town you get to, so maybe 3-4 hours in I'd say tops.

Wow....out of the 10+ gamestops in a 20ish mile radius, the only one doing it in my area is about 40ish miles away, AND on the bad side of town. Way to go Nintendo, i might get a free map, but i'd also get mugged/beat down

I made it to Stornway after approx. 4 hours - right on schedule! It makes more sense now - the multiplayer features aren't enabled until you get to that point. (Not a spoiler - it's in the manual)

That said, I may be busy on Saturday and will likely miss the event.

I will be attending the one 10 minutes away from me on Saturday. I hope people actually show up so I can do tags with others.

I made it after all. It was a pretty cool time. Got to meet a few fellow gamers and made off with some swag. (Poster, stickers, and a lanyard) Not a bad payoff for 30 minutes.

That's cool your store had giveaways and an actual event. I rolled in at 3:15 PM and was told I was the third person all day for the event. I was in and out in about 5 minutes and no giveaways or anything of that nature.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend this event at a gamestop that was holding it. I envy those of you who got to go.

I missed it because I was on an airplane home from Florida during the entire duration of the event.

BUT I swung by my local Gamestop today to see if they had any leftovers and I got a free poster and sticker sheet just for asking!
