I hadn't heard of this Gazelle website. Thanks. I have a bunch of Blu-Ray discs that Amazon was going to give me a pretty meager amount per Blu-Ray. Most of Gazelle's prices are about the same, but some of their payouts are quite a bit larger than Amazon's (i.e. Bond Blu-Ray 3-packs -- $5 credit from Amazon, which I was NOT going to do; but Gazelle is offering about $30 which I AM seriously considering now).

IMO, the $40 ($44 with Edge?) is more liquid and thus more valuable. I can cancel that preorder anytime I want, whereas with Amazon you have to wait for Madden 11. This is quite a bit of money for a game that is out of season. I'm not sure who would actually be buying this game for more than $40 at this point, so they're not really ripping anyone off.

With that said, I am not sure if I want to let go of my copy. Madden Ultimate Team is pretty amazing and it's a bit hard to let go of. I'm playing a football game daily..and the season is over..that is how impressive it is.

I've gotta get rid of some games. A $44 credit at Gamestop is tempting. I can't believe GS is still charging $50 for a used copy of M10. I basicly only play Forza (and that sparingly), so getting a Credit and a game off my hands would be nice. I just downloaded Ultimate Team but haven't played it yet. Seems like I could pick up a copy of Madden from EBay pretty easily for $25-$30 now (and possibly even $15-$25 right now if I'm willing to scour EBay and spend the time to snipe away at some low-hanging fruit). In a few weeks/months (i.e. May), it might be easy to pick up Madden 10 on EBay for between $15-$20 (or score a EBargain for $5-$15 with a little patience).

Hmmm, would be great if you could find Madden 10 for under $10 or so, and could get the $40 preorder credit converted to just straight credit somehow. Even switching it to another game preorder would be awesome.
 
I bought Madden 10 in November from Amazon in a Lightning Deal for $27.97. It remains unopened since. I think it may be headed back there for $35.50.
 
I checked GS over the weekend. They offered me $28.80 for my copy of Madden 10 for the 360 even after the 50% bonus and my Edge card. Looks like my choice now is using the coupon or going the Amazon route.

GS -- $20 out of pocket ($60 less $40 trade-in credit)
Amazon -- $30 out of pocket - $20 GC that I'll need to spend.
 
FLOL I was in a store on Saturday, and got a bit excited because I saw they had two Limited Edition 20th Anniversary copies (said XX on the cover) of Madden on X360 used for $19.99 each.

Then I realized that was Madden 09, FLOL. Okay now this is just me wondering out loud and I'm not going to do it, but I bet those copies could be passed off to some clueless GS employee as Madden 10 for the credit boost, LOL. I guess it would have to depend on what the game disc looks like, but stick it in a Madden 10 case and no doubt it would go through. Again though, NO WAY AM I DOING THAT OR ADVOCATING IT!!!

Edge only affects the base trade-in value, not the promo value.
