Guy makes real life Mirrors Edge video

Wish he would have used a better camera but its still decently cool.

The real impressive thing is that he is using one hand to hold the camera near his head instead of strapping it to a helmet or something. Doing all that while holding something must be hard.

Meh. Why include the skateboard and bike when they're not in the game? Take away the intro and there are probably a ton of videos just like it on YouTube and I'm sure there are some that are way more impressive. This video is akin to make a really crappy porno and naming it Left 4 Head just to get attention.

Show me some rooftop antics and I'd be impressed. Of course if real life played out like the game at least 5 people would die trying to get each shot. The producer would get about 10 shots done and be guilt stricken trying to figure out if its worse sacrificing another 50 people or giving up and having the deaths of the first 50 people be in vain.

I would have been blown away if he started diving off roofs and shit, but that's just straight up dangerous. I like watching skateboarding videos so the new angle was pretty awesome but I can understand how it is completely out of place. I'm pretty sure he was just taking the concept and kinda doing his own thing with it.

The only thing I can say that is bad, is that shaking.

I swear, iMovie's stabilising feature would've made this a killer PR material.

That was fucking awesome, I imagine it's hard as hell to jump on some of those things without them falling over (skateboard, patio tables, ect)

I was confused by the jumping into the giant diaper at the end. MC Hammer says those pants are too baggy.

Only cool thing about that was the videography. Beyond that, everything was kinda mediocre (although the bike thing was kinda neat, even if it was out of place).

malik: the gap in your understanding of the entire point of this thread is bigger than any Parkour runner could ever clear. I can expand on this statement if it's really needed to be said.

Please expand.

its the whole first person aspect as related to the game...id rather watch nothing than shitty first person parkour/skating/biking with a wobbly camera...might as well have been called the Blair Witch Project: Parkour Edition

Nice, but your reference is dated. A winner would be Cloverfield 2: Parkour Day.

Why does CAG 2.0 force a smaller font in the threads now? I even updated my preferences to "large text", and it's still just as small as the avatar text font.

Cloverfield had special effects. There was nothing special about this video. Thus defaulting to Blair Witch.

It's never done that for me.

I liked this video because it was stylized. It got less entertaining once he started putting in every random trick he could do, but while he was mimicking mirror's edge, it was good. He just needs to work on his camera stabilization skills.
