I just saw a commercial for Guys gone wild, what the hell. I had to think for a minute and see if they were serious. I'm tired of seeing the damned Girls gone wild commercials. I really don't want to see a commercial of guys showing sack. Who the hell would buy this? Thank god I have a DVR and can skip them. We as Americans (no people) need to take a stand against this travesty.

Eh, whatever. As long as I don't see the commercials on the channels I watch, it doesn't bother me.

You sure it wasn't a fake commercial? I've seen a "Guys Gone Wild" fake commercial that came on during The Man Show a few times.

They start airing them before that actually. I was watching a South Park re-run the other night around midnight and it was during the first commercial break.

The only market this is for is the same as playgirl - gay men. The reason is because straight women aren't as visually oriented as guys are. Sure you'll get the occasional woman but the overall majority will be gay men.
 
Its not just Comedy Central airing these, some of the independant stations in the Mpls/St Paul area are doing it late night too. Also, they have commercials for gay chat/date lines as well.

By the same token, of course, heterosexual content should be kept off your TV.

So how would you like to do this? Either no sexual content on TV at all, or just let your cable provider know what you want blocked. And why stop here? Maybe there are some sexual acts some people don't approve of. Let's have the cable provider - or better yet, the state - keep track of who is willing to watch what and where they live.

By the same token, of course, Guys Gone Wild should have censored nipples and only air at midnight on Comedy Central, NOT at 4PM on the Sci-Fi Channel.

Meh. It doesn't bother me at all. Though, I can't speak for anyone else other than myself. Truthfully, the Girls Gone Wild commercials bug me more since they promise all that fun and hype you up but when you actually see it, you're like, "that's it?" GGW is probably the hardest softcore you'll find but then it misses the point entirely. If you're gonna promote something about wild girls you're not expecting softcore crap. You want anal beads, hot wax, the sharing of a double headed dildo, probably sperm being recycled from one girl's mouth to another. In that sense, you watch the commercials, and that's what you get (sans the crappy graphics they use to censor everything). Of course, everything is really long and boring, beause they have to build up all the slutty girls with their "dancing".

And that's exactly why those commercials piss me off. It's the same as the movie trailers nowadays. It seems like they're better than the actual shows/movies they're promoting.

I don't want this to turn into gay bashing. My point of this, is I can't stand the girls gone wild and now I have to see guys gone wild. I just wish the "gone wild" company would fold.
 
I guess I'm the first female to post. All I have to say is finally there's something to make guys sick to their stomach. I'm so damn tired of those girls gone wild commercials. At least both sexes can be annoyed now.
