Hey guys, I'm trying to sell this gaming pc setup my buddy gave me. I'd obviously like to sell it as a whole, but please let me know if you'd be interested in parting it out. He's looking for around $800 for it. I'll get some pictures up here soon but here are the specs.

Monitor: 27" AOC IPS

Mouse: http://steelseries.com/us/products/games/world-of-warcraft-cataclysm/world-of-warcraft-cataclysm-mmo-gaming-mouse

Keyboard: Cooler Master QuickFire TK (Blue Switches I think, will confirm)

All for $800.

Gutting it is an option and would really help shipping costs.

No way he'll get anything close to $800 for that PC... Tell him to lower price and to try and list on eBay... He might get some offers...

Some of the parts in his PC can be used to build a smaller ITX PC. The CPU, CPU cooler, RAM, maybe the optical drive, hard drive, one of the GPU's, and maybe even the PSU. The only thing he definitely can't use is the case and motherboard. :)

He'd need a small ITX case and an H77 or Z77 ITX motherboard.

Check out this PC I built a few months ago.

I moved to a Silverstone SG08 after that, but that Fractal Design Node in the video is much easier to work in. In the Node he might be able to re-use his power supply, too.

Hope that helps or gives some ideas. :)

My current "Steambox" is a Fractal Design Node, H67, i7 2600K, SSD, 7850 packing little monster. :)
