i found .hack gu vol 3 at my local gamestop for 19.99. it is supposedly listed 27.99 online.

It's not YMMV.

Gamestop's online and in store prices most of the time are different, but they rarely match to coincide with each other. If you found it in store for that much, it will be that much in every store since the in store system price is the same for all stores.

It could just be the website is slow to drop the price as well since price changes in store don't always reflect right away online.

I knew Vol 2 Reminisce was rare (a year ago) and then it got reprinted. Sold a new copy for like $60 when it was rare.
