It looks like they are re-releasing Hardware on October 13th as a 2-DVD Special Edition and on Blu-Ray. I know the prices on the original DVD and bootleg version were pretty expensive for a while since this has developed a somewhat cult following for sci-fi horror fans. Right now Amazon actually has a better price on the Blu-Ray($19.99) then they do on the 2-DVD version($24.99)

Never knew about this movie I'm going to have to check it out. From reading about it, it reminds me of Terminator a little.

Same here. I thought this might have been another renaming of a not-yet-on-DVD classic: I Come In Peace (aka Dark Angel) with Dolph Lundgren. Most know that one as "the one where the bad guy shoots CDs as a weapon..."

I liked that movie quite a bit. Another one that's similar that I've been trying to track down is Split Second with Rutger Hauer.
 
this has been listed in amazon for months and you just posted it here in the deals thread for what reason?. The movie is good though, it was originally rated x here in the US, when it came out that's why most people have never heard of it or have never scene it.

Does it really matter to you about him posting it?

I didn't realize it was getting a BR release and a DVD re-release, so I'm glad the OP posted it. And I've seen it in the theatres, not scene it, back in the day when it came out. If it has a good transfer and sounds good, I'll pick it up, since I did like the movie.
