This is great news! I firmly believe that this is a great move for Harmonix.

Really? I thought MTV did an impressive job of marketing. I think the bigger problem is still that there are two rock solid "band" games now (well, now there are more), and that is really more than the market can bear with annual updates.

I think that as time goes on, consumers will grow to realize that Rock Band is a higher quality game than Guitar Hero's become, and I think we all know that the Gig will NEVER be that good. After Warriors of Rock came out, it was pretty clear that Rock Band has become the last good music intrument game out there.
