This is actually much cooler than you might think, as it's not just a bunch of nerds running around in costumes. They've integrated GPS/Wifi/cellphone technology into this program that a host computer uses, and it tracks the movement of everybody. There are "virtual dots" mapped all over the grid, and as packman moves, the cellphone/gps detects him going over the dot. So like, they're ACTUALLY playing a game of pacman, not just running around.
