HDMI to DVI-D question.
First things first, buy from Monoprice.

Second, find out if your monitor is HDCP compatible.

If so, you're good to go.
First off thank you for the quick response. Second I have this monitor it says in the other features section "f-Engine, DVI-D w/ HDCP" Meaning it would work correct? Sorry about asking again I just want to make sure I get the right product.

Yeah, you're good.

I use a 19" lcd as well and my cables are from Monoprice. Everything works great.

I was wondering, when you hook it up to a 16:10 monitor, like 1440x900, what resolution does it show up as on the PS3? 720p?

Mine shows at whatever resolution the PS3 is outputting. So 1280x720 for 720p. However, I think it fills up the whole screen, so I'm not sure what the difference would be when compared to a 16x9 screen. I don't have my PS3 with me now so I can't even check.
