HDMI to rca audio?

I am looking to use hdmi for my PS3 after having used component cables for a while. My problem is that I have an Onkyo stereo receiver which doesn't support HDMI. Does anyone know of a splitter that may take HDMI video and output the sound in RCA? I was browsing monoprice but couldn't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Just connect audio cables from the tv to stereo receiver.Go into PS3 audio setting and change hdmi to rca.

Yeah, with the PS3, you can use HDMI and the RCA cables that came with your console simultaneously.

if your onkyo receiver has an optical input (which it probably does) you'll be better off doing that. Get an optical cable from monoprice for like 3 bucks and you'll be good to go with dolby digital / dts. the analog audio (rca) will give you pro logic at best.

Optical is better if OP has a 5.1 setup but kind of pointless on 2 channel setup.
