It only works if I'm in safe mode w/ network, like I am right now. I install different programs from time to time and I think one of them is fucking me up.

I can do system restore but I wanted to know if there is something else I can try before I do that.

Trend Micro HijackThis is a free utility that generates an in depth report of registry and file settings from your computer. HijackThis makes no separation between safe and unsafe settings in its scan results giving you the ability to selectively remove items from your machine. In addition to this scan and remove capability HijackThis comes with several tools useful in manually removing malware from a computer.

IMPORTANT: HijackThis does not determine what is good or bad. Do not make any changes to your computer settings unless you are an expert computer user.

Advanced users can use HijackThis to remove unwanted settings or files.
You might try this one too: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Ya, I'll vouch for this. I caught a nasty bug that wouldn't allow me to use any anti-virus programs to get rid of it, even in safe mode. I downloaded and installed malwarebytes and it cleared up about 95% of everything. I was then able to use Avast and Spybot to get rid of everything else. Later a friend came by and cleaned out my registry (I didn't trust myself to eliminate the right ones).

I tried malwarebytes before posting this and it didnt find anything wrong.

so here is the hijackthis log

I didn't see anything out of the oridinary besides the bonjour thing, which i don't remember installing, and the getplusplus entry. I don't know what any of this means though.

Bonjour is installed by Apple, usually from iTunes. I think.

Otherwise I don't really see anything out of place, but I only skimmed around.

getPlusPlus is Adobe's download manager. And yeah, Strell is correct about Bonjour being an Apple program. It's used by Mac to find networks, iTunes to find shared music, or some other Apple program that needs to find shared stuff.

I'm not sure what mctadmin.exe is and they're only run once entries... Seems to be some microsoft thing, but not really sure.

And this one:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = *.local
seems to be a proxy thing? If you didn't set up a proxy server, maybe clean that one.

Maybe try reinstalling the drivers for your network card?

I cleaned these two:

because I didn't install itunes or any other apple software on my machine and it seems to be working fine now. I'll just bump this thread if it fucks up again. thanks guys~!
