Once again, I know nothing about computers. I have a webcam that has been used that is built in to the monitor. Also a microphone in it that has been used. Skype is saying the mic isn't working nor is the webcam. Is there some sort of setting where I could have shut them off and I just don't remember?

Can anyone direct me to where the monitor webcam and microphone settings would be?

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but if anyone can help me it would be extremely appreciated.

Either you have then both turned off or Skype doesn't support them.
I've had this problem before, I fixed it by installing manycam, using the webcam as video source in manycam and then choosing manycam as my skype webcam, if that makes any sense to you :p

I have used the monitor with skype before though it was probably a year or two ago. Where would i look to see if they are turned off?

I can't say for sure, because mine doesn't have a webcam built-in...
Have you tried searching around the Control Panel for video devices?

Perhaps you need to update the drivers for it, if any? Does the webcam work with other programs like gtalk or aim?
